Peppermint Patties @ CowBoys!!! (Game Thread)

I can't believe we have no game thread with kickoff 45 mins away. You force me to start one...

Tale of the Tape:

Cowboys 5-0

Vs

Patties: 5-0

QB:

Running BAcks:

1-2 punch

Coaches:

Wade Phillips: "Go get 'em guys!"

Enough talk, damn, NFL Sunday Countdown acted like there was only one game today.

We find out what we really have today. Our defense, I shudder to think what will happen there. Maybe Wade shows why he is the right man in this game. If he can get this group of pass rushers to make Brady think he is actualy in an NFL game today, I will be happy!

If Tony Romo plays about 75% as well as he did the first 3 weeks, we will have a shot.

Maroney is out.

I got to think we can pull this game out. Esp. after the heart this team showed last week.

Jacksonville leading 37-9 over the Texans, but I uess we have to see the last 0:58 of this game? Can't we send it over to Dallas and get those talkers to earn their money already???? 3:11pm people! I hate CBS.

3:16PM.

0:45 secs... timeout with Texans at the 2.

0:38 secs... officials measuring at the 1.

Wow, first down, great!

This is brutal...

Ok, opening drive, 3 and out, Matt punts a beauty. Coverage is good. Hey, Keith Davis with the big hit, he's back! You always know when he's playing, just watch the coverage teams.

Let's see what our defense does on their first drive.

First play, I knew they were going to try the Moss bomb. Luckily Brady overthrew it, he had 2-3 steps.

Second snap, Brady got a gut bust from Roy, that's one knockdown. Incomplete! What an upset!

Third down...

Ok, luck ran out, 16 yard completion, first down.

Hey, I think they are going no huddle. We heard about that, they like to keep nickle packages out there and not allow you to substitue your packages.

Ok, Brady has a nice pocket. :-( We are getting no pressure early. He's picking us apart now. Already in scoring position.

Ok, they picked up 20 yards on that 3rd down.

Now we have them at 3rd and goal, can we hold for a FG...

Nope, TD Moss. :-(

Romo, enough of this 1st quarter crap, we need 1st quarter points because I did not see any hints that our defense can slow them down much.

Touchback on the kickoff after that TD.

1st down... Jones gets STUFFED behind the line on a straight ahead run attempt.

2nd and 11..

Romo a little low on the pass to TO, but he drops it. 2 hands on the ball, drop.

3rd and 11...

Romo sacked for a big loss near his goal line. S.O.B.!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, gotta do something...

Matt's punt not his best, they are already at our 43 to start their 2nd possesion. :-(

Changing my avatar to the lovely Jessica Alba, maybe she can help?

I don't have a good feeling about this. We are going to be down 14-0. Bad news is New England is no Buffalo.

BTW thanks for the updates...please keep typing whenever you can. Thanks again.

Hmmm.. she causes a false start on 1st down for the Pats.

Let's see if that was a fluke.

Still 1st down. Walker picks up about 7.

2nd down. Can we get at least an incompletion? I smell a run coming... from the shotgun, Ware with the Sack!!!!

3rd an long... Alba with the pass defense forces the incompletion!!!!!!!

She's my lucky charm, works every time.

Tey are punting! Wow, they only needed like 5 yards for a FGA.
