Training Camp in the Rio Grande Valley

The HOU Rockets will be hosting a 2 day training camp in the Rio Grande Valley, home of their affiliated team the RGV Vipers. This is the first time any pro team has hosted anything of this magnitude down here. The training camp will be followed by the 1st preseason game of the season vs the BOS Celtics on Wed Oct 7th. http://www.nba.com/dleague/riograndeval ... h2009.html

Sounds like it is going pretty well down there so far. I'm glad that McGrady got onto the court, but the Rockets still are not rushing him.

TMac did practice yesterday. Do not expect him to play Wed night.
