Mets Offer Ricciardi and Towers Jobs

Mets general manager Omar Minaya has reportedly reached out to Kevin Towers and J.P. Ricciardi about joining the organization.

Towers and Ricciardi were recently fired as general managers of the Padres and Blue Jays, respectively.

2 awful GMs, 1 team.

not good for the mets.

towers is ok because hes an excellent dealer but an awful drafter

Towers is the same quality as JP is, because he is a ridiculously awful drafter. Like amazingly bad. If you combined JP and Towers, you would probably have a really good GM. Both of them are considerably better than Omar.
