Well my problem is that the league is full of average American players and young German players rarely get PT...

I think DSF bought the rights for live games just a few weeks ago and will be showing some live games this season but I don't know when. I actually thought the German team was pretty hyped in the Euro Championship...they won one out of six games and it felt like they were winning the championship. At least I got the impression while watching DSF. Buschmann was always like: they play very well today but unfortunately they lost again but almost won it and we still have a chance to make it in the next round the next game and I'm 100% sure we'll make it...and we have even lost against Macedonia
I mean it was without Dirk and I agree that we have some promising players but in generall the overall talent level in our national team is pretty low I think.

yeah I hate that too but that's what you get when you have some incompetent managers. I really hope the quota they introduced a few years ago will change it a bit.

it would be sweet if DSF would actually return to become a sports channel again. less gambling and quiz shows.
anway I see where you're coming from with Buschi but this is what I love about him. he's so passionate about this team yet he still acknowledges the opponent team and he used to give people a lot of infos about both teams.
I don't know how hyped our NT was during the tournament as I couldn't watch it but even if someone would have said we could win against Russia and could keep the score close to teams like France and Greece before they went into this tournament I would have called him insane. I expected them maybe keep the score close to Latvia if they were lucky. without Dirk this team used to be on a 2nd level and was not worth being an EC participant. now fast forward to now, I think this might have been an overachieving tournament as we really got lucky (Schaffartzik shooting 100% twice? hitting those difficult shots?) but afterall I'm glad the young players could present themselves on a big stage and learn off it.
