You have a number of excellent free throw shooters if you were to move Shaq I think you'd be pretty much a lock to win FT% every week...

Just by glancing over your roster you don't seem that strong in SPG or BPG... BPG is probably the one category I would tank / punt / not even try to compete in if I'm you, especially if you heed my advice and move Shaq...

Speaking of moving Shaq if you do decide to move him, try and get a center who can contribute in 3's, I think your team will be competitive in 3PTM but could use a little boost given that you're carrying guys like Miller and Hill who rarely if ever attempt a 3PT shot.

Thanks much, I will look around my league. I been thinking about dropping Brooks and picking up Bass since it seems he will see a lot of mins in Orl, thinking RBP and BPG, what do you think?

Eh Bass won't give you many blocks for his career he's averaging 0.5 bpg (he also won't give you any assists or steals)... If you want shot-blocking there are surely better options out there, is Brendan Haywood by any chance available?

Given that he didn't play last year there's a possibility that he ends up being a sleeper this year (his FT% is a bit poor though)...

Anyway to answer your question I don't think I'd drop Brooks for Bass given the composition of your team (and the fact that Bass is pretty much a 2.5 cat player)... I haven't looked at the numbers (from last year / for their careers) for all of your players, but I'm not sure how competitive your team is going to be in rebounding, on the flipside your team does look like it's going to be respectable in 3PTM.

I wouldn't recommend weakening one of your team's strengths for a minimal upgrade in one of your weaknesses (rebounding).

There's no harm keeping an eye on Bass, and I think you are right in looking for upgrading from Brooks (some people love the guy, but I'm not a big fan of him, I think the Tony Parker with a jumpshot comparisons are absurd).

---

I rambled on a bit, but here's something to keep in mind... Your team will not be great in every category. Try to strengthen the categories you're team is good in and if you're really bad in another category (seem to be losing it every week), just forget about competing / looking for upgrades in that category.

---

If you post a list of your waiver wire I'd be happy to give you an opinion on some of the players available.
