Keeper League Trade

Post#1 » by ChronicKerr » Thu Oct 8, 2009 5:08 pm

I just traded Braylon Edwards for Lesean McCoy in my 12 team keeper league. I already have Wayne and Colston as most likely potential keepers at WR for next year but my RB's are as follow: Reggie Bush, Leon Washington, Larry Johnson, Derrick Ward. Now, it is a PPR league but Bush has been awful, even in PPR this year and you need a solid RB keeper to compete. Needless to say, my team this year is in the bottom quarter of production thus far.

With Philly declining Westbrook's option for next year do you foresee McCoy being a first-second round pick in PPR heading into next season? Is westbrook done in philly after this year? Is this trade good at all for me? I had to take advantage of Braylon's appeared spike in value after his trade so with my already two stud WR's I thought I had to pull the trigger. His team already has SJAX and Deangelo along with DMC so he can afford to give up a potential keeper in McCoy as he doesn't start him currently (I may not right away if he's still backing up Westbrook). Thoughts?

don't know about the philly situation, i can't imagine westbrook being done there but you never know

i like the getting rid of edwards and getting decent value out of him
