Other teams playoff thread

Post#1 » by Wade2k6 » Thu Oct 8, 2009 3:55 pm

Phils looked good yesterday against the Rockies. I don't think the Rockies are going to win a game.

Dodgers beat up Carpenter pretty good. Don't know why they started Wolf for game 1, but the got the job done with the bats.

Tonight we got another STL-LA matchup (Wainwright-Kershaw) and the COL-PHI (Cook-Hamels). The one matchup I can't wait to watch is the BOS-LA game. Should be good games all day / night.

As a Yankee fan, I dunno who to go for in the Bos LAA series. I hate both teams but I guess I hate the sox more so go Angels :dontknow:

Nice HR by Hunter, Angels up 3-0 .....

I don't really care who we play. Sure the angels have owned us in the past, but, these 2 teams are completely different. They don't have the lights out bullpen they did in the past and we all know what this yankees team does late in games.

Guess I was wrong about my prediction for PHI to not lose a game.

Dodgers sweep
One ESPN writer feels really smart right now

"As far as the Dodgers go, they won't win. In fact, they won't survive the division series. I'll go you one better: Put me down as the Dodgers going three-and-out in the first round. That's my bold prediction. Nearly every year, one September favorite forgets to show up in October. This year, it will be the Dodgers. "

:falloff:

And now the Red Sox are swept... 8-)
