Bobcats Vs Hornets

Post#1 » by DeeJay » Fri Oct 9, 2009 4:06 am

First win for us today, great game by the team. Augustin again was impressive and top scored for Bobcats with 22. Wallace found his offense this time and and scored in double figures. It seemed like it was a good all round team effort. Even though i didn't see the game, it looked like Bobcats shared the ball well seeing as a fair amount of players scored.

Henderson seemed to struggle on offense only scoring 6, but Derrick Brown for the second game in a row scored 10. Pretty good signs from both of them though.

Looked like New Orleans were gonna complete the comeback, but then Augustin came back on and carried his team to a win.

Gerald's dunk was nice. So nice you could see someone on the NO bench nudging another acknowledging the poster he made on Marks,

And Marcus Thornton (LSU) on the Hornets put up some numbers.

I think that's what happens when one becomes less fatlier.

Fatlier.

Since Nazr has been starting over Diop, does that mean he's the back up center?
Humble yourself.

Yeah it was an entertaining game, everyone got to show a little off. Does anyone remember Derrick Brown's jam when his guy was trying to foul to prevent the dunk and he just powered through it. I was oh **** I thought only guys like Dwight Howard had the strength and vertical to pull that off. Dj looked great running the offense but he's still akward on the fast break. I think we all downplayed that abdominal strain because he looked alot better on defense not allowing penetration by either paul or collison.

To me, he's the backup PF. That's his offensive skill set, at least. Diop will get plenty of minutes every time we play a true center and probably 10-15 otherwise.

good point about dj's abdominal strain. he looked much much quicker last night than he did at the end of last year.

still a little worried about his defense. paul pretty much worked dj in that 3rd quarter once felts left.

do you guys think hendo has ever seen the left side of the basketball court?

No matter how well Naz plays It´s still only a matter of time before he forgets why he is trying so hard. If he has a nice beginning to the season and has some trade value we should dump him quick before the bottom falls out again.

Yes, I think so - game highlights from our first pre-season game (on nba.com), there is one trey from left side:)
