Well, more time for Casspi and maybe Greene?

Either way, it is still an unfortunate situation. Hopefully, Garcia recovers well.

Vocal leader, creates energy, plays good defense, good 3pt shooter.

Well i hope Donte can answer the call because this is painful. Casspi should be willing and able as well

This sucks for us, sucks for Cisco, just sucks all around. I'd say he's out for at least a couple of months.

Casspi was a monster in both games already he is ready to go now. Remember Portland played both Batum and Oden last year as 19 year old rooks and won 50+ games. Greene is still developing but will get more time. Plus we also have Mason can defend 1-3 so we are fine. Luckily the 3 is our deepest spot.

Typical out-of-nowhere, "WTF!?!" injury to a Kings player. Will there ever be a year where the team isn't a MASH unit?

With a fractured arm? I don't think so. My daughter just fractured her leg, and had her cast off today. It took 2.5 weeks while she walked on it.

I'll bet 4-6 weeks TOPS on Cisco, after surgery, as an arm is likely to heal faster than a leg would. I'm assuming his fracture is worse.

This begs the question now. Does Mason/Evans get the back-up minutes at the 2, all 12 of them?

Supposedly, it is a broken right wrist via Geoff Petrie.

I heard that he was doing flys on an exercise ball and the ball burst. Tough luck, I hope he gets better soon.

I actually think Beno is the main beneficiary of this event. I see Evans getting the back-up 2 guard minutes behind Kev. This'll probably increase Beno's #'s to relevance in the neighborhood of 25-30 minutes a night, and it might be a blessing in disguise, as we could potentially move him if his play improves. I also think Noc/Mason will start with Casspi seeing the other back-up minutes

PG: Evans - 20 MPG/Beno 28 MPG
SG: Martin - 36 MPG/Evans 12 MPG
SF: Mason 20 MPG/Nocioni 14 MPG/Casspi 14 MPG
PF: Thompson - 14 MPG/May - 20 MPG/Nocioni-14 MPG
C: Hawes - 30 MPG/Thompson 18 MPG

I kinda seeing the rotation like this, with Sergio/Brockman seeing spot minutes due to foul trouble/matchups here and there.

Great to see our Artest trade netted us a lot.

But I agree with Smills. This allows us to give the playing time needed for Beno (trade value) without sacrificing minutes for Evans. Do you really think May will get that many minutes? I feel that even now, Kenny Thomas is still better than May...although that's not saying a whole lot.

This will hurt us at the end of games more than anything, with Garcia's knack and ability for hitting big shots down the stretch. Other then that, i agree with what everyone has said. We are fortunate that we are very deep at the three. Anyway...knowing Garcia, he wont be out too long no matter what the prognosis is.

I'm assuming worst case and a fairly displaced fracture considering weights were involved if indeed that is the case, depends on the severity of course. Depending on how bad it is, it could impact your day to day life keep you out for a good couple of months if you are a professional athlete.

Hmmm...forearm is certainly different than wrist.

Seriously!? I don't know if you're joking or not but damn, that sounds like typical Kings luck if you ask me.
