Shaq just can't shut up

Post#1 » by Magicontinues » Fri Oct 9, 2009 1:58 pm

"Shaquille O'Neal believes that this year's Cavaliers team could be the best club he's ever played on.

"It's probably the best team I've ever played on, on paper anyway," O'Neal told the Associated Press. "I've always been on management to get me the power forward I've needed and the shooters I've needed."

O'Neal has won four championships in his career, three of which came alongside Kobe Bryant in Los Angeles."

So if that's the case Shaq, you should breez through the year, win 70 plus games, go undefeated in the playoffs, and win 4 in a row? Yea, that aint happenin.

They'll be lucky to get out of the east.

Never Surprised. (Shaq add it again)

Well here he is again....

Shaquille O'Neal believes that this year's Cavaliers team could be the best club he's ever played on.

"It's probably the best team I've ever played on, on paper anyway," O'Neal told the Associated Press. "I've always been on management to get me the power forward I've needed and the shooters I've needed."

O'Neal has won four championships in his career, three of which came alongside Kobe Bryant in Los Angeles.

Shaq, old news. Who cares. 2003-2004-2005-2006-2007-2008-2009-10. Those are the years he has not played for us.

Maybe for Shaq this is the best team he's played for, but definitely not the best this season on paper or based on talent, chemistry or whatever...

The Lakers, the Magic and Celtics are better teams than the Cavs, even if Shaq was in his prime, but he's not ! Hahahahaha !

sorry buddy, but a prime shaq/lebron combo would dismantle a current celtics, spurs, magic, lakers team.

And in 04 he was damn near checked out anyway, so I get what laduane1 is getting at.

Fellas let me put this in simple terms, look at the whole thing like a marriage.

Ourselves and Shaq were married.......got divorced in a nasty battle too, we were single for a minute (Smush Parker years) then found another honey (our present team) , got remarried and had a beautiful baby ( title).

We ain't thinking about our EX no more.

Shaq in 2001 was soooo much better than Shaq now. Even if doesnt think the Laker team was stacked it was w/ Kobe Rice Fox Horry Harper the vet ring chasers etc etc
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

Shouldnt this thread be in the AROUND THE NBA TALK???

I mean
A. Shaq is NO LONGER a Laker.
B. Whos give a hoot about the Cavs or Shaq?
C. Different team same garbage story by Shaq.
D. The thread failed the first time it was posted and moved to the around the NBA talks and here it is again, so basically this is a repost that was moved.
E. All of the above.

Shaq just wants to be a laker again, that's all. He knows that this cavs team will never do what the 3peat lakers did.

You know brah Im only being real.
As we all know since the arrival of O.P he has taken it upon himself to whine and cry and complain about what we post who its about and publicaly attacking other family members as well as our mods specially when this same thread he posted was removed and moved to the "NBA talks" and then now here he is reposting it AGAIN. So all Im doing is addressing the same concerns that was bothering him. Why is it any different. If he addresses our posts by playing baskseat mod specially when he is a newbiee then why isnt he practicing what he's preaching?

But seriously overall, who cares about Shaq or the Cavs. Its not like when Shaq got traded to the Heat or the Suns he didnt say the samething he is now. Everyteam he gets traded to is better than the last team he played for. Old news, in fact we need a sticky for threads that are garbage, sort of like a recycle ben thread where we can post thread that are garbage and we can toss this one in the there too of course not because of who the O.P is but because its old and same story.

Shaq is nothing more than a great player who is way past his prime and runs his mouth to stay relevant because his game has faded to the point where no one watches him for his basketball skills but more to see what he is going to say. In the end he continues to look like he is angry with Kobe by taking subtle shots at him.

I can't stop loving Shaq though. He makes basketball more entertaining.

Same here, but I still dont give a hoot since he isnt a Laker. If he comes back to LA then okay I'll give him a pass.
