lol dcash, I saw it I thought about posting it but said, nah dcash has gotta be on it I'll wait till he posts it.

All I know is my boy is still alive...Thomas Kelati. Dude is vocal on D and locking down full court and he wears GP's number 20.

Looks like it's Kelati vs. Gaffney for 1 spot right?

When will they cut Morrison? I bet Gelable was more impressive so far.

Well there is difference between a garnuteed contract, and a non-granuteed contract because the non is easier to get rid of. Also if the Lakers want to be players at the deadline then I would keep Morrison as a trade chip.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I thought i was the only one noticing that D.
Mitch needs to keep this roster as is right now. And if He's going to cut somebody, then Gaffney has got to go. Kelati has the long range shot, and he makes his man give up the rock every single time!

To Mitch: Its perfect right now. Even Sasha looks like he's got some droid juice left in em. Kelati is a keeper... Dont F**** wit it Mitch!

Kelati (195, 26) arrives from Unicaja, where he averaged 11.8 points in 16 Euroleague games last season, his first in Europe's signature club competition. He boosted his scoring average to 15.5 points in two games against the Reds. Kelati matched the record for most three-pointers made in a single Euroleague game when he downed 9 from downtown in a home win against Lottomatica Roma. Kelati previously played for Turow Zgorzelec, where he averaged 14.8 points and 3.2 rebounds in 15 ULEB Cup games in the 2007-08 season. Kelati helped Turow to make it all the way to the ULEB Cup Final Eight, losing in the quarterfinals against Dynamo Moscow. In his two seasons in Zgorzelec, Kelati also reached consecutive Polish League finals, losing twice against Prokom Trefl Sopot. Kelati has also played for Dexia Mons-Hainaut in Belgium since finishing his four-year college career at the Washington State University (NCAA). He averaged 14.3 points and 4.3 rebounds in his senior season with the Cougars. Kelati is the only professional basketball player with Eritrean roots.

I know that bro, just expressing my frustration with his game. For someone who's on his last straw to stay in the league he's been showing nothing good so far.

Excellent. I'm a little bummed that Gelabale got cut, but since my boy Kelati is still in it, all is right with the world.

I really really hope we keep Thomas Kelati. As much effort and determination Tony Gaffney has shown, this Kelati kid looks like he could be a potential diamond in the rough. Another Ariza or Brown like unknown player who we can turn into a gem.

We knew the roster was set. Just now who do we carry at 13.

Morrison making 5 million. Would love to save money on him by finding a team that wants him. If not, lets pray he found his shot in the off season and can score a little. Maybe come trade time, someone would want his ending contract.

http://www.insidesocal.com/lakers/2009/ ... moves.html

The Lakers cut Michael Fey (UCLA), Mickael Gelabale and David Monds today, trimming their roster to 15 players. Free agents Tony Gaffney and Thomas Kelati remained with the team for now. Neither is expected to make the squad, however.

No clue who this guy is, or why he'd say that...inside the lakers?...legitimate source?

neither is expected to make the squad

lakers had 13 guaranteed contracts already... count them:
bynum/mbenga
gasol/odom/powell
artest/walton/ammo
kobe/sasha
fish/farmar/brown

we all knew mitch probably wanted a 13-man league minimum roster unless someone completely blew him away

OT: What is going to happen to our PG spot next year, Farmar is a RFA and Fisher is a UFA.

Buss and Mitch are going to let Farmar test the market so they can see his value.
Chances are they won't match.

Fish will probably sign a short term deal.......maybe a 2 year deal. I think Fish is ready to hang it up, but I know many here want to see Fish gone but them cats don't understand ball to it's fullest extent.

Fish will be willing to play a lesser role much like B.Shaw did on our 3 peat teams, and Shaw was good at it. I ask this.......who was on the floor when the Lakers made their historic comeback against the Blazers in 2000?

Answer : Shaw, Bryant, Fox, Horry & Shaq.
