He's a double-double machine and playing alongside CP3 should really help his offense, he hasn't missed a game in the last 2 years and he will get you over 1.5 blocks per game. I know he has a bad FT%, but at under than 5 FTA per game, it won't have such a bad effect on your team if you have some decent FT% guys in early rounds (Or if you take DH12 and punt FT% for rebounds, FG% and blocks).

Okafor is getting drafted around the 6th or 7th from what i've seen so far

That's a pretty wide range considering 6th round could be pick 50-60 in small leagues and 7th round could be below pick 100 in really big leagues. I got him ranked around 60 more or less, depending on need, along with guys like Biedrins and just below David Lee.

As for Brand, he's too big of an injury risk and his role with the sixers is too unclear to go as high as he's going IMO.

Brand usually gets drafted around 30-40 range which ,considering his upside,is a reasonable gamble.

Any thoughts on when Gilbert should go (16 team league)?

I haven't kept up to date with his return =\

What about CDR from New Jersey as a sleeper this year ?

I took him in the last round at pick # 197 (20 teams & 10 rosters spots).

FYI - I gambled on McGrady at pick #117 and AI at pick #124. If AI averages 16/5/3 along with 1.5 spg and 0.8 3's I will be happy.

Julian Wright.

Hope CDR breaks out, grabbed him off the wire in a 20 teamer.

Have Sessions too, but not sure what his role is going to be with Flynn.

With Chandler always iffy and Diaw still ailing, keep an eye on Ajinca @ Cha.

Solomon Jones could put up nice blocks stats.

Will Bynum could see significant minutes since Stuckey is a sucky pg.

James Johnson should beat out Thomas for the starting position, simply because Thomas is already ailing, hasnt imroved much, and while he's a better fantasy option now, he's just not a good basketball player. I see him getting traded.

Carlos Delfino in Mil. 3pts all days, he's a mini Turk.

Brandon Bass in Orlando coul play so well that, when Lewis returns, he'll keep the pf spot and Rashard will move back to sf.

The words is out on Curry. He's a great player and he's the only willing passer on a squad full of gunners in GS. Every player wants to shoot first. Stephen Jackson will be traded soon btw.

JJ Hickson looks good for Cle, dont fall for it though, he's not ready.

Houston is a mess. Scola has been overrated/drafted. Good player, bad roto stats since he's not a great scorer, doesnt steal/block well enough to warant a high draft position. I see him going as a 3rd/4th tier c, but he's not close to that. Anderson isn't great either. Landry and Hayes are fun players to watch in every sense of the word, but will not help too much. Dorsey isnt ready but would be the perfect fantasy option, with a knack for grabbing EVERY board there is. Brooks will not get a lot of ast. So if you draft him as a pg, it would be because of his 3pts probably.

Same goes for Louis Williams. Dont count on his ast. Do count on stls though.

Brandon Jennings in Mil looks very good. Nice source of ast later on in the draft.

If Davis misses time, grab Telfair for some ast. Dont draft Thornton. He sucks.

Gooden and McDyess will be cheap sources of rebounds, and people forget about Haywood. I got him in the last round of a roto draft and I'm oving it. I see McGee going earlier than Haywood. Thats just wrong. Haywood will give you 8 reb and over 1.5 blks a game.

The sf position in Sacramento is up in the air. Mason doesnt do anything worthwhile in fantasy land. Noce is a subpar fantasy player. Cassapi could be a nice sleeper and Donte Green is far from ready. He could be a Rashard in two years though.

Utah has a hole at sg or sf. Sloan probably wont start both Brewer and Kirilenko and CJ Miles was slated to start. I see a trade coming up soon with Boozer being involved.

NY is a mess. Gallianininlinini looked pretty bad so far, Chandler got overdrafted, Duhon will be mia after 50 games, Hughes, Curry and most others are still worthless. Lee might score a bit more and Jeffries could be a nice all round source of goodiness.

Courtney Lee is maybe the most overdrafted kid this year after Brook Lopez, both play for the Nets and Lee might not even start. Terrence Williams will become a great 6 or 7 cat roto player, CDR looks like a good option at sg, leaving Lee on the bench. Playing with Howard is different from playing with Lopez. Lopez looked v ery good, but he's not a 2nd string (I see him getting drafted 23-30 this year, too high) YET. He had Carter playing o his team last year, and he got his points of off rebounds and kick out passes or passes when Carter/Harris got a double team/switch on them. Lopez will have a much harder time this year scoring as easy as he did last year. I'm not saying he wont put up 14/10/1.9 but people migth expect more.

Haywood just got injured.
and Galloili (how do you spell his name anyway?) might get decent playing time. NY has no talent and he might even start for them. He is solid for %s and 3s.

If Hibbert can stay on court and play 25 mins/ game, he will give you good REB and BLK.

haywood: its an ankle tweak, he'll be ready for the start of the season.

galianinini so far hasnt shown anything...he might be a nice 3pt shooter but seeing rudy go undrafted in many leagues, i dont see what makes a rookie (which he basically is) 3pt shooter worth drafting

CDR is pretty one-dimensional right now. He has the skillset to be a better rebounder / passer but though he's been doing it efficiently, and some Nets fans disagree (because they take this as an insult to CDR), CDR seems to be suffering from tunnel vision...

There's no harm in drafting him in the later rounds but if Courtney Lee is healthy I guarantee you that Lee will start over CDR.

It also doesn't seem that likely that CDR will start at the 3 given that Lawrence Frank has an aversion to playing too many young guys at one time.

Im confused about the new jersey starting sg situation. It sounded like lee was gona start for sure but since CRD has played well in the pre season it looks like theyre gona get equal time.

I think rush would be a solid sleeper for this year. in the pre season so far he has had at least 1 3pm, 1 stl and 1 blk. not bad with the % also.
