Weak card by WEC standards, but I will surely watch. I like Ben Henderson in the upset. When will the WEC put Wagnney in with someone decent?

Good card. I called the Henderson upset too. It was a close fight, but I had him winning the first 3 rounds. Very shocked that Wagnney got subbed by a guy with 3 career fights.

I agree with you on Wagnney.

Henderson/Cerrone was fun. I had it 2-2 going into the last round.

I think the big round in question is round one. I gave it to Henderson because he controlled the round after Cerrone's initial submission flurry. I can see how someone would give that round to Cerrone though. Had Cerrone won by a round I would have had no problem with it. Great fight regardless.

I thought Cerrone won for sure, but good fight regardless. Apparently it's impossible to sub Henderson.

I cannot believe Henderson survived all those submission attempts.
Great fight, who does Cerrone fight next now though?

Man, that was awesome.

Thought Cerrone won, but happy either way. Give credit to Cerrone for almost submitting Gumby, though.

Either the Jansen guy who beat Crunkilton or the winner of Razor Rob and Pettis seem like the most likely next fights for Cerrone.

Very entertaining show, as I've come to expect from the WEC. This is why I'm not sure how I feel about a merger with the UFC. A great fight like Cerrone vs. Henderson would probably get put on the prelims of a PPV instead of being a 5 round main event. Really, when the WEC keeps putting on shows like this for free, from a fan's standpoint, what's the upside of folding them into the UFC?

Anyway, as I mentioned, Cerrone vs. Henderson was great. I was expecting them to announce Cerrone as the winner, but I can't be mad at them giving the nod to Henderson. Very gutsy performance from him. Good showing for Cerrone as well, even though he came up short in the end. Showed some very nice skills on the ground, and I'll definitely be looking forward to his next fight.

Crunkilton vs. Jansen was pretty good. A lot of wrestling, but at a decent pace.

The Fabiano fight was a shocker, but it's kind of fun when that happens. Like when Kevin Burns tapped out Roan Carneiro (I think that's who it was, right?).

I thought Assuncao vs. Jabouin was a very good fight. Looking forward to seeing both of those guys in their next fights.

The Damacio Page fight was fun while it lasted. That guy would be a great character to have in the TUF house if they ever do go that route.

I'd like to see some of the prelim fights. I forget if that's possible with WEC shows, but some quality guys in action, like Njokuani, Wineland, Tapia, Valencia, Vasquez, etc.

As long as the cards are free I hope they stay on their own, but isn't the plan to make them PPV soon?

Bringing in 2 extra division into the UFC the way it is growing would mean more free cards on TV and better fighters on the TV cards. So, either way it is a win for the fans IMO.

Cerrone was way cocky and I was rooting against him, but that first round was his. He won the fight 3-2, IMO.

Brown vs Aldo will be hot!

Oh yeah, that ref needs to get over himself. He kept yelling, "let's go to war" and calling everyone "dude" and he helped Cerrone up off the mat after the fight. The first two are ridiculous (as was his tight t-shirt) and the latter a breach of his role.

Wow, I fianally got to see the Cowboy/Henderson fight, it was off the hook! Hendo is one tuff dude and Cowboys Jits game is mad slick. I was very impressed with both of these dudes. Its a shame someone had to lose. FOTY IMHO.
