just a guess, but the players you tried to trade for were probably already traded from that team inbetween the time you sent it and when it validated it

Why would there be an error if it was sent?

I'm assuming you're the one with Derrick Rose. I'm trying to figure out a trade but not sure who else I would want from you. Unless we can do a 2 for 1?

Yeah, that is me. I am glad we could work something out.

*How soon can I add another player to fill the empty roster spot I now have?

Same here, Rondo did have better numbers, but I expect Rose to improve without Gordon. Plus I needed some better ft%.lol

As soon as I approve the trade (which I just did). I'll try to check in at least a couple of times a day to look for trades. Also after a trade reset your lineup right away because it will have holes where the players you traded away were. The deadline for setting your lineups for the week I believe is 2 am central time sunday night/monday morning.

Unless you are picking up a player off waivers, where that player is not added until the waiver process is completed (the date next to each waived player in the FA list). Waivers start off in reverse order of where we drafted, and if you are awarded a claim you go to the back of the line and everyone else moves up one.

Thanks, that was very helpful. I had selected to add a player that was not worth giving up my 2nd spot in line.

You set your lineups weekly.
Once the season starts, click on your team page an cycle through the dates.
The page for each sunday will be the only place you can move players around on your roster.
You set your lineup for the whole week on that day's page.

I have to make a slight edit to this post. Mondays are the pages you can change your lineups on, not sunday. The first day of the playing week is monday and the 7th is sunday.
Sorry for the error.

I know I'm a couple of weeks late, but my team is so guard heavy, and that Jason Richardson and Jamal Crawford is up for grabs, I do wish I could get a good front court player in return.
