"Prepare for Enraged Patriots To Win the Super Bowl&quo

Post#1 » by campybatman » Tue Sep 18, 2007 2:27 am

I found this article linked from MSN. A good read in my opinion.

Win One for the Cheater
Why the enraged Patriots will go undefeated.
By Charles P. Pierce

However, the only thing that New England didn't pick up in the offseason was a cause, and now it has one, especially if the investigation is as thorough and ongoing as Goodell seems to be saying it will be.

That's the obverse of a general feeling that has arisen among Patriots in recent years

the steelers need to shut up.

funny, cause big ben didnt really care about the subject.

but... do you really think the NFL will alow a so called cheater to win the superbowl ? it will never happen!!! watch the calls in the playoffs.

manfairy knew exactly what he was doing. screw up our draft and ruin the SB for us. I am betting most of the coaches around the league think manfairy is a rat and have no respect for him.

The San Diego Chargers are wannabe contenders. They complain all the time and make excuses. LT is really starting to get on my nerves, he talks a lot and then doesn't back it up.

I don't know about this, a perfect season would definitely seem to me to be better for the league, regardless of team, than a "cheater" winning would be bad for it (as long as the "cheater" was disciplined right off the bat and stopped cheating). Of course that only comes into play if we can pull that off (we can, its a matter of whether we will).

Plus we've got a team of good character guys, and the league would want us to prove that our previous superbowls weren't the result of "cheating" (they obviously weren't but if that was the perception on any level, it hurts the league as much as it hurts us). And the story of Marquise Hill will resurface at some point. I wouldn't be worried about this
