First cut made

Post#1 » by azuresou1 » Tue Oct 13, 2009 9:16 pm

Aaron Miles and Frank Robinson cut. Still on the list:

Mario
Othello Hunter
Juan Dixon
Courtney Sims
Garret Siler
Mike Wilks

Increasingly looking like Siler's not going to make it.

I'm just hoping they pick anyone but Dixon.

I'm rooting for C. Sims and G. Siller, I seriously don't think a 3rd PG is that important due to Crawford's ability to play there if needed. Even in case of an injury, it's easier to find a guard than a big man. Joe Smith is a bit too old, he will be playing at least 15mpg, so I think it's too risky to have only him as a backup for Josh. GO SIMS.
GO HAWKS.

My question is if Jason Collins signed a guaranteed deal or if he's a potential goner? DNP for being completely out of shape isn't a good sign.

Siler hanging on in Hawks' training camp

Garret Siler's heart dropped when he saw Hawks team assistant Michael John Garrett walk from one side of the locker room to the other and tap two players on the shoulder. http://www.ajc.com/sports/atlanta-hawks ... 64817.html

Wiz fan here. Here's to a good game tonight. Anyways, I wanted to comment on Miles. I think he's the ultimate idiot. I remember a couple of years ago he was on our SL team and he dominated. We asked him to come to camp but told him that we wouldnt gurantee him a spot. He elected to take the sure thing and play overseas. Meanwhile we got decimated by injuries. I bet anything he wouldve been on our roster the whole year and wouldve even started some. I dont think he's been in the NBA since. I understand about needing the money and wanting the sure thing but this is your dream and you have to beleive in yourself. He blew it and I know he regrets it
