Trade Idea with Chicago

Post#1 » by JordansBulls » Wed Oct 14, 2009 7:19 pm

I know you might be tired of the T-mac trade ideas, but what do you think of this one?

So let's say the Bulls offered you Deng, Tyrus Thomas and Brad Miller to the Rockets for T-mac and Scola, would you accept?

Both Scola and T-mac are 29 years old. Brad Miller is expiring and Tyrus is as well if you want his contract to end. You get a great player in Deng and then have leverage to get a Joe Johnson in the summer.

Rockets
PG Brooks/Lowry
SG Ariza/Budinger
SF Deng/Battier
PF Tyrus/Landry/Hayes
C Miller/Anderson

Lineup
PG Rose/Pargo/Hunter
SG Salmons/Hinrich
SF Mcgrady/Johnson
PF Scola/Taj
C Noah/Gray

Its not a bad deal and it would allow us to move Battier for some more pieces.

I really don't want any part of Deng's contract, honestly.

Is Deng even ready to play? He gets hurt just like T-Mac.

What an awful trade for the Rockets.

Deng and his awful contract suck, Stromile Swift sucks and so does Brad Miller.

No thanks.

No thanks to Deng and his contract. I rather let Twack contract expire and go from there...

That doesn't address the worst part of the deal: Deng's contract.

Also, you may want to be careful around these parts trying to trade Chase Budinger. If you didn't know he was created in a lab with the DNA of Houston's most beloved sports figures: Hakeem, Clyde, Earl Campbell, Warren Moon, Jeff Bagwell, Craig Biggio.....no wait - that was Serpentor on the old GI Joe cartoon. Still - trying to trade off Budinger will bring out the crazy in some of our locals! ;)

When is Tmac coming back?
Scola is our best player, i wouldn't trade him for someone who is not an all-star.

On top of what Moofs and E said, I'd rather keep Lowry than trade him for Heinrich's contract.

Look at it like this:
Some people don't like the trade because of the bad contracts. Adding two more bad contracts, is not going to make us change our mind.
