Trust me when i say this, it's not because you're "special" :wink:

I just feel that rule is set up, so an inactive person, can't halt the entire game, I feel like exceptions, to make the game more fair for everyone, should happen, here and there.

I know, but if for example denied wants LMA, and my deadline has past, then that's my fault really. I hadn't expected for the connection problems but that's beside the point. If no one care, I'll just pick a different guy. But if he wants LMA he should probably get him.

Vintage made a judgment call and picked LMA for Gremz so that sticks.

denied, i can understand your frustration but you can always leave a list if you weren't going to be around and knew it. gremz had an unforeseen circumstance that i can understand cause my internet fails all the time. there are rules but man, we're having fun. if they need to be bent they need to be bent.

dENIed, being out of town or something, has asked me to speak as his proxy. He feels that this whole situation is a huge pile of BS and that the fun of this game will now be compromised.

With that said, if he doesn't get LaMarcus Aldridge he will take Baron Davis.

You know what, I'd actually expect that you'd be understanding towards me, I mean we've dealt in the past, and I like to think my personality is in no way harsh.

I've had complete backing from most participants in this game to stick with LMA, but take this for what it's worth. You can have LMA. If an internet connection failure is apparently "BS" then so be it.

This is probably a terrible decision, and for the most part I doubt anyone would be as stupid as me to let you get what you want.

Requesting permission from the commish to change my pick from LMA to Boozer, allowing deNIEd to get Aldridge. Call it stupidity, but I'd rather not be the centerpiece of a whinging session.

ok, vc4p is up and i don't see a list in the trade board mod email. hopefully he'll be around.

thanks gremz for trying to have fun, some people forget that thats all it is. on that note, the rules are meant to try to help speed the game up, not try to force someone into a bad move. if Vintage says he thinks gremz was going to go with LMA, then the first reaction from the next pick should have been to agree to that, not to argue to force him to take some other player. thats not right.

Wow...someone making sure their "proxy" tells us their feelings on a situation is incredibly underwhelming.

For the record, if someone gave me an indication that anyone, Gremz or otherwise, was leaning towards a specific person and that person made sense I would give them the same latitude on the rules. As would Vintage. So in the future, lets try not and insult each others' integrity.

With that said, I'm leaving town today after I get out of the office and won't be readily near a computer until Sunday evening. I'm going to send a list to the trade board email. As far as I'm aware that gives three people access to it. Also sending a copy to Gremz. Someone should be able to make my selections.
