You can try to make a play running the ball against teams like Wofford and Michigan State instead of throwing the ball away. You can't get away with looking at a reciever the whole time against good teams.

If the defender is in front of the receiver, you don't throw the ball there, it doesn't matter what team you're playing against. Sure, against poorer teams, the defender might not be there, but since the defender IS there, you don't make the throw. The team you're playing against is irrelevant, the fact that the defender is in front of the receiver when you decide to make the throw makes it a bad decision.

I've always thought Bulaga was a late first to mid-second kind of guy.

Trent Williams didn't look good today either. I wish I would have paid more attention to Brown from USC tonight. Sam Young got abused by Everson Griffen.

Okung, to me, looks like the #1 tackle but even he's not a very good run blocker. He is as good as advertised as a blind side protector, though.

Amazingly, the Badgers are 21st in the first BCS rankings.

Before the Ohio State game, I read an article about something that mirrored the computers used in the BCS formula, and only the computers (so it eliminated the polls). At that time they were like 5th or 6th in the computer rankings. Too bad they lost those 2 games since, it would be interesting to see where they would have been.
