Golden State preseason game

Post#1 » by cdt3 » Sat Oct 17, 2009 10:39 pm

Anyone going to this game?

It should be a very even and close game since both teams are young and hungry and looking for anything positive from the preseason. Also since Golden State is a more accurate measure of our team than the Lakers or Portland right now this one should be played like regular season game.

I will have to settle for listening to it on radio.

I'm not going to the game. But hopefully I would be following it via radio haha

I think this game would be a nice measuring stick of where our young core stacks up with the other young core: Curry, Randolph, Ellis, Beans VS Evans, Thompson, Martin, Hawes

I hope this is an entertaining game at least.

Is this game not on nba league pass? They have almost every other preseason game on or did i just miss it? Anyways like said this should be a more even matchup to evaluate our guys. I hope curry gaurds evans sometime during the game to show how much more rounded he is then curry. I went to the gs vs laker game and it was curry and jackson chucking the entire time.

From everything I know, they will not televise the game. Both the Kings and Warriors will not televise it. Just like the Portland/Sacramento previous games.

The camera crew isn't there. If Reke develops a consistent J he will be a star!

Damn, JT on his way to a 30-30 night!!! Just from the looks of the box score, looks like Ellis can't stop Evans.

If one quarter of play is indicative of the future then Evans, Hawes and Thompson are the core of this team.

Is Hawes playing well? I know Evans and Thompson usually look good but Hawes has been somewhat disappointing.

Hawes disappointing? I thought he did pretty well in that Lakers game. Had almost a 20-10 night. His 3 point shot has been silky smooth so far in preseason. Don't forget, he's got a bum ankle too.

DAMN, I wish this was on. Even while I respect the Warriors, living in Warrior terriorty and proudly perading my purple blood does get me some boos. Still, it's always fun to see them battle it out, and I wish I could watch Evans make mincemeat out of Curry and Ellis.

Well, the Warriors have 3/5 starters in the game against our 0/5 starters on court during their run.

Don't judge Hawes by the box score because he certainly hasn't passed the eye test. And hawes did terribly against the Lakers, he got all of his #'s in the 4th quarter against the lakers 3rd string.

Evans needs to chill out with all these turnovers. Although i would like to see what kind of turnover they are...

Good god

Jason Thompson: 16 points, 14 boards, 4 assists. A few boards were cheap, but the assists were mostly classic, princeton action :o

Hawes has gotten the best of Anthony Randolph down low. He has looked good. Steph Curry looks lost. When we go to our bench we don't look too hot though. I don't see D. Greene's future as too bright.

Here is a tweet from Sam Amick:

Exhibit A of why #nbakings love Evans' size at point: Jax is on him, leaving Steph Curry to deal with K. Martin. Can you say attack mode?

Our Evans/Martin combo will be a handful with a lot of teams this season.
