I'm with Dave here, this is much ado about nothing. I don't think it was a dig at Sheed as the OP suggested. The focus is weathering the trials and tribulations of the regular season and getting to the playoffs as one unit. I'm sure it's the same for the Celtics too.

That's the goal here. Some of you gotta stop taking Phil so serious at his every word. The man is a Jedi master.
Personally I think, like every comment with Phil, that it definitely had the Rasheed comment in mind. I saw the interview and how he answered the question. He could have steered clear of it with a more general comment. But with that said he has the right to a little gamesmanship after hearing the comment.
Phil's "harmless" reputation is self-inflicted. It may be funny to some, when he says things like Leon POW, but I assure you, if he is being condescending to a member of your team, you wouldn't like it. In other words Leon Powe is so much of a non-entity that he doesn't deserve the respect of saying his name right.
Brad Stevens on fans who want the Celtics to tank: "I don’t think they’ll like me all that much then."

I can go for that. Just like when Jordan said "Bryan Russell or Byron Russell"???? Whatever his name is! I thought that was totally disrespectful also.
