Somebody please sell me on Peja...

Post#1 » by Nash2Stoudemire » Thu Oct 15, 2009 8:24 am

I have Peja in my fantasy team and he is the only guy i'm not completely confident with.

I've looked around but there isn't much on his recovery/preseason apart from he feels 'pain-free' and will come off the bench.

Can anyone give me some good news that might make me feel better about him?

I only want 3's and points out of him... Do people believe he can produce 15ppg and 2+ threes this season and play 70 games?

I'm sorry I just can't. At this point in his career you need to starting thinking about how wally sczerbiack played last year and thats what you should expect from peja. Well that may be a bit off but I don't think you can count on him for more than 12 pts in a game and I don't think he'll get you 2 3's per game either.

I was in the same predicament as you, but I just dropped him right then for Jason Thompson

he won't start, so its reasonable to expect 70 games or at least high 60's from him. but expecting 15 is a stretch. if u can settle on 12 ppg and maybe 1 three on relatively decent percentages, ur good to go
