Keys to the Game

1. Keep the absence of Troy Polomalu out of your minds and play better defense. Cause havoc with strong tackling and bumrushing Phillip Rivers out the pocket.

2. O-Line keep Shaun Rogers off Big Ben

3. Pass rush blitz on Derek Anderson or Brady "Prettyboy" Quinn or whoever the hell Eric Mangini throws out at QB.

4. Considering both teams defenses. This game made be a potential grindout. Play the best defense possible Steelers.

Go Steelers! I don't know why we would bring Troy back against the Browns? I would let him heal up another week.

Exactly. I understand they want to bring him back ASAP. Against the Browns, I question the call. I can see him playing in a few series, but the whole game. Hope that's not a bad call.

It's a smart move by Tomlin to bring back TP for this game because next week, the Stillers play Minnesota. Tomlin is getting TP in game shape so he will be 100% next week against a very good team. The Stiller D will need TP at 100% game shape next week if they want to stop Peterson. Without TP at 100% and no Aaron Smith, Peterson would run all over the D.

this should have been a blowout. even at 4-2 the only thing that has me impressed with the steelers so far this year is the passing game. other then that we are looking very average. we need to be a different team next week or we wont beat the vikings. we had over 500 yards of total offense and only managed 27 points today. those turnovers today were uncalled for and cant happen when we play the really good teams in the NFL.

wow the ravens just lost and so did the bengals :D

The Vikes beat the Ravens today so that elps the Steelers in the rankings. I didn't get to catch the game due to work. Glad the Steelers won though. How did TP43 do in his first return?

That's solid. I can deal with that. It will take him a minute to get back into the thick of things.

Still think it was a smart move? Troy wasn't the same after he tweaked his knee. So its a safe bet he wont be 100% against AP & the Vikings

Nothing is more concerning than a lingering injury. They better be careful on how they bring him back into the rotation.

Where I come from(Memphis) in the South region of the US. For some reason the Cowboys and Steelers always draw fans from the best to the fanatics. I've been on the Steel Train since 95 since the days on Bettis, Thigpen, Breuner, Gildon, Kirkland, Flowers and so on.
