Easy solution, put Dirk on Bargs! Ha!

So when Rose blows into the paint, 'drew will say "GET THAT SH*T OUTTA HERE".

And Rose will score anyways. :(

Somehow I think Drew's gonna have some problems chasing Smoove around.

Yeah, Rose contorting his body around Drew and into another state at the same time in order to finish the lay-up would sort of put a damper in your plan.

Wait so who's guarding Bynum? And have you ever seen Smoove trying to D up Dirk? He just can't!

That's sort of interesting considering Dirk only scored less against about 5 other teams than he did against ATL where Smith is almost exclusively their PF with about 12 minutes of Al in there too.

And Barney's guarding Byney. He's an above average post defender, just not a stellar weakside defender. If only I had some weakside shot blockers at the forward slots.

Like AK47...or Smoove.

Wait, the same AK47 or Smoove who will be futilely trying to guard Dirk when neither have been successful doing so in the past? Also who guards Caron?

Are you kidding me?!!!!

Barg is one of the worst big man defenders in the league. Worst starting center at defense, and theres only a handful of backup bigs that are worse than him. I really hope you're joking

Well I wouldn't say Bargs is among the worst but he's average at best. I wish him luck keeping Bynum out of the paint.

:banghead:

Watch a Raptors game, will you? It's getting increasingly absurd how people view Andrea and Okur's D. Neither is quick footed enough to be a terrific help defender (though, going only by numbers, Andrea's making progress this year), but both are good positional defenders.

I'm gonna assume your opinion is warped, because you had Brad Miller for so long, you assume any white big with range, can't D up?

I haven't watched much Bargnani, but the trade board's opinion of him as a whole has shifted greatly, to the point where guys who blasted him and called him a bust, are giving him praise, I haven't watched much game play, but considering how critical the trade board posters are, that says something about how much he's improving.

Without getting too deep into my gameplan on here, I'll just say don't assume i'm conventional. I'm anything but.

I agree he's an average defender overall, but he's above average positionally, below average weakside.

(Bynum is above average at both, Haywood is above average positionally, and average weakside for reference. At least imo. Haywood's one of my favorite guys in these games)

Above average positionally is selling 'wood short imo. He really is among the top post defenders in the league.

Average could also mean, not good, but not a liability.
Average is such a subjective term, I've seen MANY Kings fans call Udrih "average" and yet, I can't name a worst starting PG in the league....

No, I base players according to how they rank among other players. Barg can improve all he wants, but he's still worse than the vast majority of bigs at defense

Ok, so never refer to Beno Udrih, as anything but "utter trash" because besides Lou Williams in Philly(which even that, is debatable) there isn't a starting PG worse than Beno...

Ya, but you're also talking about some massive homers.

Udrih is the worst starting PG in the league (Ridnour is close), but he's an above average backup PG.

And Bargnani is one of the lesser starting defensive centers, but he'd be a above-AVERAGE back-up defender....which is exactly what he'd be in this game...

Would you look at that

Lets start with your real team's C, Hawes. He's improving, and has the same negative stigma Okur and Barney run into, but he's not better than Bargniani overall. Brad Miller, Zaza, Big Z, Shaq's not much better at this point, but he's certainly more intimidating. With Rebounding included, Biedrins is a better defender, without it, he's an incredibly overrated guy I wouldn't want guarding anyone positionally over Barney. Okur is on his level or a little better. Foster in Indy, Al Jefferson, Andrew Bogut.

How far do you want me to go?
