I'm just starting my first full season and surprisingly enough I can get huge leads then lose them in the 4th, as of right now I am 4-5 and all my wins and losses except one are by less than 3 points (I did have a 21 point victory). I am playing the most difficult setting and considering going down a notch even though that is normally not my style.

I'm thinking about picking up a copy of NBA 2k10 really soon.

Has there been big improvements over previous 2k9? The last one I played was 2k8 I believe, so it's been awhile.

But sounds like a pretty good game from what I have been reading. And I am with a lot of you, prefer to have it on hardest setting. Even on normal difficulty, you can blow teams out by 40+ pts while shooting a 50% clip (all the easy dunks and fast break points).
Looking forward to the 28-29 season.

Depends - 2K10 hasn't really changed the feel of the gameplay that much, it's mostly enhancements to player faces and the addition of the My Player mode, and the D-League (you can send your players/call them up BUT there is a glitch so you can only send 2 players EVER to the DLeague lol - at least on PS3)

With that said, I'm happy I got 2k10 to replace my 2k9. I'm having a lot of fun with it - they've really gotten it so that it looks like you're watchign a game on TV
