(Less in that he drafted him, given that he was a second rounder, and more in that he's been with the team for over a year with very little forward momentum/improvement. I think it has more to do with Dorsey than Morey, and that if he can set his head straight on what he needs to do that he can still be productive, but it's looking like he needs a [more] major wake up call [than not playing for an entire season].)
I really don't see how anyone can call Dorsey a bust. I don't care how you phrase it, you cannot use the term "bust" in conjunction with a 2nd round pick. Do you realize that most 2nd round picks get cut within months of being drafted? Sure Morey has a solid reputation when it comes to drafting, but no one gets every draft pick correct. The term "bust" signifies that a player has failed to meet expectations, and with 2nd round picks there are no expectations. Dorsey has exceeded expectations by remaining with the club for so long. He is an undersized center that will most likely always be a fringe player in the nba.
I hope the Rockets keep Pops - he is fun to watch play. If he ever learned proper spacing or how to shoot he would be deadly.

I just wish Dorsey wasn't a foul machine. If he could limit his fouls, he would become valuable, period.

I absolutely realize that and almost deleted the post yesterday because of it (actually thought I had, but apparently, it was just "almost"). The parenthesis tried to amend the post to compensate for "bust" not being a proper term, but eeeh.. At any rate, it's a minor flaw. Given its scale in the bigger picture, I was also thinking (though it doesn't address it) that it's actually a complement. Dorsey is one of the biggest negative statements about Morey's term as GM that I can think of?
Morey 2020.

Unless dorsey show some game, he will be considered a 'bust' by Morey's high standards of drafting.
If someone else is the GM, perhaps it will not be considered a bust considering that Dorsey is a 2nd rd pick.

Hurts, don't it?

I like that over the squad that took the Lakers to 7.
Call me an optimistic, but I think we're better than the Suns, Grizzlies, Warriors, Clips, and maybe the Hornets. The playoffs won't come easy, but it's not impossible.
