Preseason Game 7 Los Angeles (4-2) VS Maccabi Tel Aviv (0-1)

Kind of bad we drpped the 20pt lead to 12 but it was a clear win which we needed.

108-96. Clippers pull out the easy win over Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Solid games all around. The player of the game was definitely Doron Perkins of Maccabi. He finished with 16 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, 4 steals and a block. He's a guard btw.

Telfair was rusty to start the game, but in the second half he was getting to the basket with ease and put up some pretty nice numbers (15 points, 7 assists, 2 steals & 1 block) in 24 minutes of play. Baron saw reduced minutes off the bench and had a solid game himself with 10 points, 8 assists & 4 boards.
Kaman was the team leader in points at 18 and had a good game with the exception of 6 turnovers.

The Clips will gear up for their 8th and final preseason game on Friday against Chris Paul and the New Orleans Hornets, which will be on Prime Ticket.

I would love to get Doron Perkins a invite so he can play in our last game against the Hornets if that is possible. His hustle on rebounds alone should earn him a spot. Other note Eric really has to pick it up and start grabing some rebounds 1 in 23 mintues is terrible.

He was on the Cavs' summer league team this year, but only played 2 mins. I wouldn't mind if Dunleavy keeps him in mind for us next summer/preseason.

I agree bassy needs to stay healthy and play well this season. We don't have another option at PG unless we cut someone and sign a 3rd PG. I like Skinner but I think we have no need for him. He hasn't played at all. Even DJ doesn't get playing time.

There are solid PGs still available like jaric, tinsley, or even mike Taylor.

I just don't think eg or Collins can run the point.

I liked Shaun too but he was too injured. My concern is bd or bassy will miss games and we don't have a 3rd PG. If they play all season then that's a moot point.

I expected us to win this game and we did

I didn't really follow this game because I had an exam to study for but it turned out well. Can't wait to see our team for the final pre season game. Let's see if we can beat the Hornets.

You're forgetting about Mardy Collins. The guy may not be flashy or a big scoring threat, but he's still a solid 3rd string PG who can play smart and provide some good defense. He had some nice games last season.

It's preseason and all, but it should be interesting to see what kind of game Butler has against his former teammates.
