=Awwww man! Sucks we traded him! Now all we have is J-Rich and Dudley...

In all seriousness though, if indeed his career is over, muchos gracias to Mr. Bell for contributing his best years to our team. He gave his heart to this team and you gotta respect him for that.

Kerr had a sixth sense about this injury happening. Good trade. Atta boy Steve

The trade was good at the time and now it's looking even more better. Diaw still would have been out of shape and average his usual post contract numbers of 8-4 and Bell would be getting older and more injury prone.

Even Bell and Diaw fans should see this trade was good for the Suns, J-Rich can average 20 points a game when given the chance, can that be said about either Bell or Diaw? Dudley is a role player and a cheaper Bell replacement and that 2010 second rounder will come in handy.

That's too bad, he was one of my favourite Suns. I wouldn't be surprised if he retires this season. He talked a lot about getting into broadcasting when he was still with the Suns and sounded like he would have played out his contract and retire but stay in the Phoenix area to do broadcasting.

I'd offer him a vet min if he'd like to play with us next season.

The best part of that whole thing was how little the other lakers on the floor initially cared. Looks like Odom kinda tried to get mad afterwards, but that's about it.

....You really wanna use that video? I'd much rather have had Amare and Diaw act like Lakers and not have cared in that case.

Oh, let's not open this can again -

but .... I really believe Stern was wrong in suspending them. There was no indication they were doing anything other than trying to see if their teammate was okay - neither went towards an opposing player. The suspension were the letter but not the spirit of the rule, and they hurt a great series.

I think Stern has been a great commissioner and he may have saved the league, but this time he was wrong
