The only one I really disagree with is Broussard, because his "analysis" makes absolutely no sense.

Blah blah blah. Does the system work? They question it when we have it, they call for it when we don't have it.

Real issues with this team are not mentioned in the predictions. Rebounding, versatility of players like Dudley/Clark playing the Diaw/Marion roles, perimeter defense, Dragic being an adequate backup (which he is), other teams dropping off (Houston), wildcard Channing Frye, Amare's contract year.

good points burning heart. From an offensive standpoint I feel like whenever Channing is on we can probably outscore any team in the league he really does add another weapon out there for us. Soon enough though teams are going to close out to him but then it'll be his job to fire a quick pass to a cutting J rich/hill/amare and let them go 1 on 1 with guys either hopefully drawing the foul or making the bucket.

I was glad to see the suns talk about how they were disappointed in how they let sacramento score so many points even though they put up 143 which is alot. Glad to see they're trying to change the culture given the limited assets to work with.

The comparison of dudley/clark to diaw/marion are not on target though. The earlier pair were superior in their abilities but what Diaw had in ability he lacked in effort and that's why we love Dudley so much he gives it his all. Clark one day will become a marion type defender in my eyes but more importantly he'll become that 3/4 tweener forward shut down defender I think that's becoming more and more popular in the game. He'll be a guy we can put on Dirk or on Chris Bosh or.....here's something weird to think about if he leaves after this year....Amare....wow don't like thinking about that one.

We just need more draft picks we can turn this around in the future we have a few alright pieces to work with. I wish we could dump J rich so in the offseason we could sign Joe for close to the same salary and then decide if Amare proves he can play some D and rebound we keep him or if he can net us a guy like Bosh trade him if we feel that's better

Joe Johnson, Earl Clark, and Amare/Bosh Barbosa Dragic would be a nice core put some pieces around it

Yeah, I mean, I wasn't making the comparison between them too directly. I just think Dudley and Clark have the tools to be a mismatch and give us that versatility that we had with Diaw and Marion. At the very least, we can get some perimeter defense out of them I'm sure.

i am loving this season!! suns gunna come out of the gate swingin and put up a 55 win season. everybody couted them out in 04-05, had them tacked to miss the playoffs, and this is our new 04-05!!!

nash will put up better numbers than last season, too. how can they say his play has deteriorated? lol mofos

Wow how do some of these ESPN hacks have jobs?

I love the people picking the Suns to finish 9th or even 10th. I guess they forgot Amare (the Suns best player) was out for half the season and they went through two coaches, yet the Suns only missed the playoffs by one game. They have a better team than last year, Amare is back and they went back to run-n-gun and yet this team is somehow worse?

Thorpe and Stein definitely had the best picks this year. I love how some of them slobber and drool over how well Shaq will play and completely forget his age but dump on Nash for age. Age takes less of a toll on a pg like Nash rather than a physical player like Shaq not to mention Nash still is well conditioned and has the best medical staff in all of sports behind him. Don't get all the Bull love there either. Bulls still don't have real scorer or dominating frontcourt player, lost Gordon, have a bad defensive team other than Noah and Thomas at times, have a sucky coach, and Deng is a chucker who had one great fluke year and his only real talent is shooting midrangers. Our system gets questioned but the Cavs system doesn't even though the guy who transformed their offense last year is gone and before he came in they were one of the worst offensive teams in the league. (19th in offensive efficiency before Kuester, 2nd after he took over offensve). If Brown goes back to his old system, it will be dribble, dribble, dribble, pass to LeBron or Shaq, see if shooter is open.

the first dude, i read 3rd in the pacific division and lol'ed. the clippers might be better than the last couple years, but they are still the clippers and will find a way to lose games. no way the clippers finish ahead of the suns.

and Broussard is right how many times have heard Nash complain about how he hates how fast the suns play and how tired he feels because he has to run so damn much

I can see why most 'experts' are not impressed with the Suns.

Our 2 best players are 36 and 37.
Our most dominant player is oft injured, 1 dimensional, and somewhat an ego- flakester.
We are relying on 3 or 4 non proven players to contribute.
We play no defense.
We have no player who is a bonifide rebounder.
We have a coach who really has not been anything more than mediocre.
We have a front office that has achieved a label of ineptitude.
We have a milk toast fan base that have gone from the 'Mad'House to the 'Fad'house

From the outside, I see very little to be concerned about.

Any team can beat us. This is a .500 ballclub even if all the chips fall correctly. My main hope is to be playing well at the end of the year, then get on a hot lucky streak.
