OMG the sweet gamethreads are back....
I feel at peace.
Shaq is awesome. I can live with LeBron winning as long as I get to listen to Shaq and Delonte West talk about being champions. While Powe walks around with two rings.

Yeah, either game thread was fine, but this one is nicer.

I'm just wondering how Ray will perform against the Cavs, and if he struggles will Marquis be inserted. I am a lot more confident in beating this team in Ohio than I was last year, but its the first game of the year for the old refs so anything could happen!

You have just been Perk'd!!!

Re: Season Opener: Celtics @ Cavs - Tuesday, October 27th
I think I would rather have in the "temp" refs. I am really fed up with the Dick Bavetta's, Violet Palmer's, etc of the world, who think they're the big shows and have these gigantic egos.
I haven't been posting as much over the offseason, but I've been here nearly daily. My final semester of college, so life's been hectic. My Buccaneers are still winless, so here's to getting a win on opening night. May we all stay healthy as possible all season long en route to number 18.
GO C's!!!!!!!!!! Kill tha Cavs!!!!

Re: Season Opener: Celtics @ Cavs - Tuesday, October 27th
you know Cleveland is going to be really up for this game, Shaq's debut, home opener, the disappointment of last season
cant afford to start slow or momentum will be hard to shift, play good team d on lebron, let perk handle shaq and go to ray and kg early
look forward to seeing Sheed out there in regular season action too, against a team we are likely to see in the playoffs

The old game thread design is back! Thanks WTB!
I am hoping for a great game! We looked really good in the last preseason game, if we can build on that we should be OK!
Go, Celtics!

Hope the Celtics get Rondo signed to an extension, get the road win at Cleveland and start the season off with a ton of great karma.
