Season record predictions

Post#1 » by jgustav1 » Sun Oct 25, 2009 1:28 am

Time for the season record predictions, the preseason is complete and the roster is set going into the opener. My prediction is 40-42, same as it was last season. They could be better, but I've been too optimistic in prior seasons to go over .500.

My hope is 46 wins and the 8th spot.

50 wins if healthy
If the Clippers win the championship next year I'm getting banned from RealGM

No chance this team gets close to 50 wins. I'll say 38-44, 10th spot in Western Conference.

A week or so ago, I was thinking 41-43, but I am going to add a couple more to that and say 45 wins if we are a healthy team. Talent is not a problem. The guys all just seem much more focused and upbeat this season. Lucas' presence has re-motivated certain players that needed a huge boost in that department. DJ is progressing sooner than expected. EJ looks like he's ready to take it to another level, Kaman is at about 1.7 status, and Griffin is looking impressive. I'm drinking the Kool-Aid once again.

Whatever amount of games will get us into the postseason(7/8 seed) is my prediction.

Great improvemt from last season but still not enought to make the playoffs, as we go 39-43 and miss out as the 9th best team in the west.

Though, i wouldn't mind if i'm wrong and we'll make it to the postseason.

We should be for .500, I'm thinking around 45 wins

Now with the Griffin injury I will predict 38 wins and another disappointing season.

It's an early injury, we haven't even seen the team play yet.

We have more depth too this year. I think our backups at the beginning of the year were Paul Davis and Brian Skinner? No wait I think it was Timmy.. Smith is a huge upgrade over any of them.

48-34, unless the Clippers get out to an ugly start after the end of November then I'll say, 36-50.

And the winner is - a tie between ClipperDomination and BoomFizzle with 38 win predictions.

That's about how many we should have won.

Okay next season, let's all make very low predictions cause it seems to have the opposite effect.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
