Game Thread Sign Up's: 2009-2010

The Game Thread signup's returns once again. Last year we had excellent consistency with the game threads, and I extend my thanks to all that put in the effort to get them all up on time and well presented with thought.

I am sure everyone know's how it works by now. I won't have as many rules during the season this year, but obviously come playoff time this will change.

Guidelines:

- Threads to go up no less than 6 hours before the game. At 6hrs before tip off, some one can create a replacement thread (subsequent threads will be merged.)

- Threads ideally to be up ~24hrs before the game, if its a back to back, leave an hour or two before the new thread. On "long breaks", 48hrs is acceptable, since it will stop anyone "pushing in" and making an early thread.

- Sign up's are first come first served, if no one has claimed a game before you, even if the list on the original post is not updated, that game is YOURS.

- Make effort with threads, they can be funny, pictures, serious, thoughts, a bit of graphics, whatever you like, but people do enjoy doing them and reading them, so don't sell anyone short, put some time and effort in to them.

- I will provisionally say "2 signup's per half month", game's will be posted in two "blocks" per month, and you may claim up to 2 games per block.

- Try to be sporting, if you see others miss out on "prime" games, and your repeatedly getting them, let others have a shot at doing the "big games".

As soon as games appear here, they are available for signup's. Typically they will be up 2 weeks in advanced.

Fri, Oct 30 Orlando @ New Jersey (8:00 PM ET)
Sun, Nov 01 Orlando @ Toronto (1:00 PM ET)
Tue, Nov 03 Orlando @ Detroit (7:30 PM ET)
Wed, Nov 04 Phoenix vs Orlando (7:00 PM ET)
Fri, Nov 06 Detroit vs Orlando (7:00 PM ET)
Sun, Nov 08 Orlando @ Oklahoma City (7:00 PM ET)
Tue, Nov 10 Orlando @ Charlotte (7:00 PM ET)
Wed, Nov 11 Cleveland vs Orlando (8:00 PM ET)

Just to give everyone a chance, and to see interest, for the next few days you can only sign up to 1 game. If not all games are taken before the season, then it will go to the normal guideline's of 2 per block.

I'm so excited to see everyone's posts. I got really into it towards the end of last season and hope we can continue to have the most ridiculously long and talked-over game threads at Real-gm
