I'd still do it, he would be a good fit next to Amare. He is a proven shot blocker rebounder, and the change of scenery could stoke his fire. + we would also ask for Willie Green in that deal, he replaces what richardson does at the Sg. and brings hustle and defense........Dallys contract last as long as Richardsons, and is less money by a few mill, right?......DO IT!!! :banghead:

what about trading j-rich to memphis for marco jaric / marc gasol / steven hunter??
we could buy out jaric and sign udoka ... sounds pretty solid to me. we would have to offer a first rounder.

gasol / hunter / lopez
ama´re / frye / amundson / clark
ghill / dudley / udoka
barbosa / udoka / dragic
nash / dragic

Props to the great one

I don't think Utah or Memphis would do those trades.

Yeah there's no way MEM gives up MGasol after his rookie season, or even wants Richardson

THen Memphis would be left with another horrible contract that is JRich's. Also they are STACKED with shooters on their team, AI, Mayo, Z-Bo, Gay . . . JRich?!

Gawd.... I guess the 'Trade JRich' Trumpets are going to toot all yr.

To think, instead of Richardson and Dudley, we could have a broke down ol vet on his last leg, and a chubby , underwhelming frenchman, whose play is less predictable than the daily horoscope. (as much as I liked Doris, he continues to frustrate whatever fan base he is associated with)

Besides, in terms of need and value, JRich does not appeal to other teams. We would have to take another one in the buttcheeks to move him.

And I happen to be one of a few here who thinks Richardson is as likely to have a career yr as anyone.

If we actually get to the point of adding a valuable contributing piece come midseason via trade (w/o blowing it up in the case of extreme suckatude), I would think that Barbosa is our main trading chip, as likable as he is. You have to give to get.

guys, why don't we propose anything that make sense to BOTH teams of the trade, instead of to neither! ;)
If we utilize Amare and JRich properly instead of the communist ideal of "sharing the wealth" , we might get to somewhere still. ;)

The only teams that look like they could use JRich, can't afford him

The only teams that HAVE space, don't want him

The only trades where we get some talent back, have us taking ridiculous contracts too

We're stuck with him, at least if Amare goes we should see JRich drop 24 a night

Yes, all reasons why I'm so adamantly opposed to any JRich "deals" that have been proposed.

It's ok, I really think Rich will have a big season with Gentry's first full season. No reason he can't be to Gentry somewhat what JJ was to D'Antoni.

So...Walter Sharpe just got released by MIL

6'9" 245lb is all I care about. Has some decent size and because he's under the age of 35 he has upside on the Suns. More than Jarron Collins. Who has as much upside as this soon to be devoured apple.

Upside. GONE.
