Suns fans fantasy basketball

Post#1 » by bwgood77 » Mon Oct 26, 2009 3:45 am

Forgive me if there is already a league among you guys, but I was thinking of setting one up on espn, and wanted to see if any Suns fans were interested. Let me know.

How about a H2H league since the other ones are rot? Set it up for a live draft tomorrow or something?

There was already a yahoo league set up..I wanted to try the espn leagues.I think it is better. I was thinking of maybe a Thursday night draft. Sure it will be after the season has started. I can set it up h2h though.

it says Your draft is currently scheduled for Mon Oct 26 2:00pm MST for me... :dontknow:

maybe PST and MST are the same right now? MST doesnt recognize daylight savings.

it would also be easier to just keep it all on one site, but if you guys still wanna do the espn one I am down, but this one is already set up with 2 teams...

I just set up one on espn with a draft of 9:30 et on Thursday. I like customizing them, but since I haven't tried the espn leagues yet, I just set one up with their standard h2h scoring. Here is the link.....league name is Suns fans and password is nash (also I sent invites to my brother and dad, so if you see three teams with the same last name don't think I am trying to be sneaky...what would be the point in a league with no money on the line anyway?)

Right now I spend most of my time on the nfl boards, but the Suns board there is, as you know, pretty bad. There are only a handful of good posters who still post there but they are not around yet. I will probably be around these forums once the season gets going. I live in Austin now, so I think I am going to get League Pass to watch the Suns. You are a UA guy right? Football team is finally looking awesome for the first time in a long time..funny Foles is from the hs my sister in law teaches at in Austin...looking forward to UA basketball as well.

I have high hopes for Earl Clark. But one post I have been thinking about making on these boards or the espn ones, is comparing our young talent to the rest of the WC. Because it is bad enough we have Nash and Hill aging, and many don't want to re-sign Amare and J-Rich (me included) but can you name a team that has worse young talent than we do in the conference? The future looks awfully scary. Personally I hope Amare starts to "get it" and becomes a beast and that we can sign someone like JJ or pry Chris Paul away in the future....with the Colangelos I would have had hope they could do something like that....but with Sarver and Kerr, I can only wish and hope they start to get it.

Hey Bwgood77 Hey I am a fellow Suns fan looking to join your ESPN Basketball fantasy League and I noticed you posted it on the message board but I wanted to make sure it was okay with you first since I post on here pretty sporadically. So how about it can I join?
