Re: Around the NFL Week 7
The 2007 Patriots scored the most points in a NFL season with 589. The Saints are currently on pace to score 635, and would need to average 35.2 points the rest of the year to break the record.

Peter King wrote:I think it's incredible that we're almost halfway into this season and Kyle Orton is ahead of Jay Cutler in almost all ways. Count them:
a. Wins: Orton's 6-0, Cutler 3-3.
b. Passing yards: Orton's 264 ahead.
c. Touchdown-to-interception differential: Orton's plus-8, Cutler plus-1.
d. Yards-per-attempt: Orton's .57 better, a full half a yard against the guy who's supposed to have the biggest arm in the league.
e. Passer rating: Orton 100.1, Cutler 86.9.
And King has the stats wrong. Those were from yesterday. Cutler now has an even worse YPA and passer rating.

Rodgers is #1 in YPA, 9.5. The guy is silly good for the protection he's gotten so far this year.

Ha, right? Twitter is awesome when it isn't your team's players opening their mouths.

Re: Around the NFL Week 7
I need ONE point out of Akers to tie for the week. One. Anything more and it's a win for me. I came in needing 12 for a tie and got 11 in the first half. Philly has barely even moved the ball since.
Ugh.
Ugh.

Yeah that is a huge crock of **** from Brittany.
Right now I can tell her she is wrong and hopefully if and when we win on Sunday we can just tell her that yes, she is right...we were pushing her dad out the door...because we had a better quaterback.
And then I would bang her.

Umm, if you go read the last post of page 3 on the Packers/Vikings pregame thread and read between the lines, you'll see that I called a sexual act with her first.

I've called it years in advance.

Re: Around the NFL Week 7
One week Richard Seymour guarantees the Raiders make the playoffs. The next, he says they couldn't beat a high school team.
And in other news, Larry Johnson is going to be released from the Chiefs (and rightfully so IMO - the guy's an idiot and it isn't like he's playing well).
