Re: why durant over granger?
everything the same except for 3's? really?
durant shot almost 48% last year compared to granger's almost 45%. That's a huge difference when you're talking about your team leader in shot attempts. also durant averaged 1 1/2 rebounds more than granger. I think everyone believes durant has the higher upside and will continue to improve from last year.

Re: why durant over granger?
To be fair Granger also averaged twice as many blocks as Durant did (though fewer steals). I think it really comes down to what you find more valuable.
They're going to be equal or nearly equal in points, FT shooting (similar attempts & %), & assists. So it really comes down to which you'd rather have:
3s, blocks, turnovers (Granger has slightly less)
OR
rebounds (slightly more), steals, FG%
I personally like Granger's line more because he provides much more in 2 rare cats (vs. Durant who provides more in 1 rare cat).

Re: why durant over granger?
I personally like Durant over Granger because of Durant's upward projection, and the fact that I don't think Granger can duplicate last year's performance (in part due to the fact that he'll see less time at PF*).
Think of this as the Gerald Wallace or Andrei Kirilenko effect. When those two guys play at PF they are a good source of blocks when you move them back to SF their BPG averages take a noticeable hit.

I prefer Durant.
Granger has a bigger injury history than Durant.
Durant also has more upside imo.

Re: why durant over granger?
Can you explain your top 5? More accurately, why is Collison in there?
I'd go:
1. Lebron
2. Chris Paul
3. Kevin Durant
4. Dwyane Wade (depending on off season activity)
5. Danny Granger
6. Kobe Bryant
7. Dirk Nowitzki
After that it's gambling. Bosh? Lopez? Carmelo? Deron? Gerald Wallace? Yao Ming?

Re: why durant over granger?
Well, I knew Granger would struggle to put up numbers this season. He set career highs last season and I think once players put up career numbers in one season, it has no where but to go down the next. Durant, on the other hand, was on the upside this season. You knew he could put up better numbers.
By the way, I'm playing in 2 leagues, one roto and the other H2H. I had no choice but to pick Durant in the 1st round of my draft. Currently, I'm in 1st place in both leagues.
