Peyton Manning for Matt Hasselbeck and Adrian Peterson?

Post#1 » by CBS7 » Wed Oct 17, 2007 3:27 pm

I'm the one giving up Peyton, should I do this trade?

25 passing yards - 1 point
1 passing TD - 6 points
1 interception - -2 points

10 rushing yards - 1 point
15 recieving yards - 1 point
1 rush/rec TD - 6 points

Nothing for receptions, completions, and no penalties for sacks, and -2 per lost fumble.

At QB I'll go from Manning/Griese/Lemon to Hasselbeck/Griese/Lemon.

At RB I'll have Willie Parker/Mojo/Peterson/Benson/Foster.

2 and a flex.

The starters in my league are 2 QBs, 2 WRs, 2 RBs, 1 TE, 1 W/R, 1 W/T, K, DEF.

I know I recommended him and he did good last week but i highly doubt Lemon will be of any more use to you.
He could prove me wrong and actually turn out to be good but his matchups arent exactly favorable

Patriots
Giants
Bye
Bills
Eagles
Steelers.

Out of those 2 are questionable whether the matchup is good or not
The Bills have given up alot of points but 5 passing tds compared to 9 ints, (Well technically 9 and 9 but i added it without the patriots game where Brady got 4),
And Philly has given up 4 tds and 5 ints so they arent a good matchup either.

All im saying is if theres something somewhat better out there definitely drop him.

I'm not really counting on anything, but Griese has been excellent for me and I'm fine with starting Hasselbeck/Griese for the rest of the season.

I can pick up Leftwich as well, he looks like he's going to start soon. But no, I had pretty terrible options at QB in the first place, which is why I had to start Lemon.

And should I do the trade or not?

I like Leftwich but that line sucked to begin with, then they lost their two starting tackles which only compounds the problem.

Anyways as for the trade I wouldnt do it. Sounds as if your options are thin at QB in that league so its more important to keep manning. Peterson is a beast but wont be as valuable to you as Peyton.
