Edit- Forgot to mention that SIlva-Belfort will likely be on the 108 card also. That makes the card even more stacked.

I'm thinking they will move Silva-Belfort to the Superbowl weekend card, whether that is 109 or 110. Silva is coming off his surgery and has been making noise about not being able to fight at 108. That could just be because he doesn't want to fight Belfort though.

I wonder what the new co main-event will be. I've gotta think they are just moving one of the 107 fights up. If Alves is ready, they could do the Alves vs. Fitch fight. Fitch was supposed to fight at 106 anyway IIRC. That's co main event worthy IMO, although with both guys having their shot at GSP already, it would be hard to sell it as a #1 contender fight or anything.

Then again, if they haven't announced a fight like Cane vs. Nogueira, it might just be that.

I still think the 106 card is pretty solid, with Davis vs. Saunders, Parisyan vs. Hazelett, and Sadollah vs. Baroni.

To replace just a portion of Lesnar's draw, the UFC will have to pull out some serious stops. That's not so bad.

The new co-main event will be Josh Koscheck vs. Anthony Johnson.

I'm not sure about it as a co-main event (it sure as hell isn't replacing Lesnar's PPV buys), but damn that's a nice fight. Huge test for Johnson.

Add that to the card that's been mentioned before, and you have a pretty kickass show top to bottom.

Sounds like a good fight. It's a let down that I won't get to see Lesnar and Carwin though. I've been pretty pumped for that fight for a long time now.

On a more random note, I wanna see more from Todd Duffee. I hear he'll be fighting at 107?

Rumble better come in at less than 171 this time.

That's a fight worth letting Johnson stay at 170(-180) for.

This is going one of two ways. Koscheck grinding out a unanimous decision, or Rumble getting the stoppage TKO.

This really sucks.

UFC 106 was suppose to be 'the' card to get hyped for with Ortiz's comeback and the battle of the biggest HW's. It also even had Florian vs. Guida which was eventually moved.

I wonder what Joe Silva and Dana White have under their sleeves this time.

EDIT: Koschek vs. Rumble will be a very good match. But I don't know if it's co-M event worthy This will be a good test for Rumble though.

Lesnar bowed out because Carwin will be 7'3" by the time they would have fought. He keeps growing. The UFC ad claims he is 6'5".

Carwin is 6 feet, 1.3 inches tall according to the draft measurements.

Cane vs. Lil Nog has just been added to complete the main card.

Davis vs. Saunders has been bumped to the prelims, but maybe they plan to show that one on Spike. It would be a good idea, since it's likely going to be awesome.
