The Cavs will struggle against any team as long as nobody but LeBron shoots at 50% or better.

This was a loss but a good loss, Lebron got better, as hard as that can be, his shot looks smooth, he is a beast and on his own level.
They were LOST on the offensive sets, specially shaq and Parker, VERY understandable though, and still lhad many chances to win. Stupid turnovers in the last minutes cost us the game.
Z looked OLD, not much help from the bench, and like someone said here before, Brown's subs in the second quarter were atrocious. Allen abused poor Bobbie at will, no Lebron, no Shaq, No Mo?? thats plain stupid and let them back in the game.
The game was still close at the end after all that, so im VERY encouraged with all this.

I really think the Cavs will improve in the pick and roll once Leon Powe comes back from injury. He is a much better defender than Varejao who struggles to stay with most 4s. I still don't see the value in Wild Varejao. A bunch of wild, unproductive, unstructured energy combined with no offensive game, marginal defense, and no shot blocking ability. Obviously, you see the potential, but at this point he is what he is. I think eventually his worth will be as a backup center for the Cavs. Eventually, I see Big Z being shipped somewhere else at some point during the season. That will allow Lebron, Powe, Hickson, and Moon to play PF with Shaq and Andy at center.
really?!? glorified role player?!?! did you not watch last couple years playoffs?!? you see him drop 50 points last postseason!?! please stop!
Are you on crack??? the year before he came to the celtics he averaged over 26ppg!!! thats a role player ?? last year was his best shooting year perhaps of his career thats a role player?????? 2nd best 3 point shooter in history soon to be first? wow open your eyes up and take a look Ray Allen is a future HOF !

We'll get better but that doesn't mean we can beat Magic, Celtics, Lakers.
Our big men are slow, old and outdated.
We still can't defend Howard, we still can't defend Lewis, we still can't defend pick&rolls. List goes on. Oh and our coach is still Mike Brown.

Howard is the one guy we can guard now. We have added frontcourt depth, shaq is obviously in really good shape and he was playing some great d at the end on KG in the post and KG is way more agile and just miles better at the offensive end than Howard is. Marking those athletic 3 point shooting 4's is a problem but it will improve with time I think.
And the list kind of stops at 2...we cant defend pick and rolls (and probably wont be able to with the personnel we have now) and we cant defend those athletic 4's (which we probably will be able to in the future when we dont leave shaq and Z out there for long stretches and Hickson and Powe start coming into their own). Other than that we are mostly ok in defending other areas.

I know the guy has his flaws and all but why don't you guys bring Wally back if you have a roster spot? Is Anthony Parker really an upgrade?
I do have to laugh at the concept of Ray Allen being a roll player, I know he doesn't play well against you guys but damn who on your team after the King is better than Ray? I would imagine LeBron would kill for a roll player like Ray.

So called experts saying Sheed is a lock down defender and gonna be putting up those offensive numbers especially outside is hilarious. As many fantasy leagues as I've been in since Sheed was a rookie every year same thing , Sheed is as inconsistant as they come. I've always loved his skillset, but he's the oldest guy on the team isn't he? 35 like DFish, and DFish works like a champ to stay in shape while Sheed is busy burning blunts and sleeping.
Celtics scare the crap outta me, but I think the LAL can get them on the inside.
LBJ's blocks are the sickest thing in the game right now.

James is the best ever but the Cavs looked as bad as they did against Orlando. LeBron needs help or this season will end poorly with a 3rd seed and second round elimination.
