Hey mods, I have a serious question concerning realgm/mods. I usually post on the Knick board and I have big trouble with the mods over there. Since there is no way to contact the mods over there I figured to ask you guys about the following:
We have a small number(5-6 guys) of total trolls and idiots over there on the knick board and some of them create dumb thread after dumb thread. One of them for example posts a new thread on Brandon Jennings and the Bucks every 4-5 days. Other Trolls join in and start bashing Walsh and calling names etc. This is just one example. At first I reacted in a bad way as I insulted those trolls which resulted into a well deserved ban. After the ban however I created a new account in order to start with a clean state. I , then, never insulted anybody or called anybody names or anything.
After the last Jennings thread which lasted for 6 pages I questioned the mods and their reasoning behind letting that happen. Didn't get an answer.
I then figured I could create a thread on MY favorite non knick player too and posted it on the knick board. It didn't even take 1 minute for it to get moved or deleted. I then created a thread on the Blazers but it got deleted with 30 seconds.
I then created a thread asking how to contact the mods over there?
All that without any insult, name calling or any other offensive act. The result?I got waived from the board immediately. Another poster wondered about mods action too. Since the mods over there give no answer,no reasoning whatsoever and apparently are biased towards certain posters(most knick fans have been calling for that specific poster to get banned for over 6 months now ) I'm strongly leaning towards leaving realgm altogether. I'm not a little kid anymore that can accept such behavior by people who abuse their power in such a childish way. I just wanted to get some input from mods of a different board as it seems the only way to get some info about them and their behavior.

Re: problem with mods
Here is the exact chain of events:
Guyver, who is an obvious troll to most knick fans over there started approximately the 10th "Brandon Jennings" thread within the last 2 months. I then asked the mods during that thread in a polite way if it's ok to repeatedly post Milwaukee Bucks related stuff on the Knick board and why they'd let that happen over and over again(no insults,no name calling, all in a polite way). After not getting an answer I thought it is obviously no problem to start threads on non knick favorite NBA players so I started a thread on Gilbert Arenas:
This thread got moved to the "Opening Night" thread within 30 seconds(showing that the mods must have been closely watching the board). I then asked in the Jennings thread about the reasoning and got an answer that it just belonged in that thread and didn't deserve it's own thread.
So far so good. I then asked how a thread concerning Brandon Jennings and the Bucks DOES deserve it's own thread?Let alone the fact that it was like the 10th thread within the last two months on the exact same subject?
The mods apparently had no real argument for this question so they chose to just ignore me. I posted another two posts telling them that I'm still awaiting an answer to no avail. After bumping the thread my posts got deleted immediately(showing that the mods were online indeed but just chose to abuse their power).
I then started a thread on the blazers and their strong bench and again it got deleted within 30 seconds while the Jennings thread was still there.
I started another thread "How to contact mods ?" --just asking for a way to talk to them---it got deleted right away. I tried to post it back but it got deleted again.
All this happened without me using a single insult, name calling or other inappropriate word or act.
To me it clearly showed that they are biased and use a double standard.
To me it was a clear case of power abuse and that's why I'm asking for advice here.....

Since it is obviously ok to start threads on favorite players from other teams as often as one chooses to I thought I'd just start a thread on one of my favorite players.
Gilbert Arenas worked his way back after missing almost two seasons with injuries. He looked very good, speed and athleticism are there and his shot was ok. He also did a very decent job of passing the ball and finding open teammates. Washington definitely looks like a top 5 team in the east and is the only team I'd give an outside shot of beating the top 3 (if they remain healthy).
Good Job Gilbert!

There is no such thing as a clean slate here.

The problem with these "trolls" you're referring to is that they don't directly violate Terms of Service. They're just incredibly annoying and drain the life out of anyone who frequents the board. The naive ones, such as yourself, then respond to them with insults.
