Trade advice...

Post#1 » by steve0077 » Tue Oct 27, 2009 3:08 am

Ok I have Brook lopez and David Lee as my C's(yes i know Lee is PF but he is eligible to play C) Now i'm in a roto espn league all settings are default. It's an 8 team league this is my team:

Chris Paul, Nor PG
Danny Granger, Ind SF( can't believe he dropped to me lol)
Dirk Nowitzki, Dal PF
Andre Iguodala, Phi SG
David Lee, NY PF
Ben Gordon, Det SG
Brook Lopez, NJ C
Jeff Green, OKC SF
Russell Westbrook, OKC PG
Zach Randolph, Mem PF
Jason Richardson, Pho SG
Kevin Love*, Min PF
So I got offered Pau Gasol for Brook Lopez and I know my gut feeling was take it and run but I think Brook Lopez is gonna be a stud C this year and on the flip side I feel that Pau's numbers are gonna dip a bit especially with artest in L.A now. I'm 90% gonna accept what you guys think?

I wouldn't do it. Gasol was very good last season because of the abscence of Bynum with him back I really think Gasol's numbers may dip a little and as you said Artest as well.

Chris Paul, Danny Granger, Dirk Nowitzki. Wow.

Don't do the trade. I had Lopez above Gasol on my cheat sheet. Gasol is having hamstring problems which don't go away overnight and will linger for the season. Plus with Bynum back it's all downhill for Gasol.
