Lester sighting!

Since when did they move mike and tommy and that whole row of announcers to the other side of the court? Why'd they do that?

gamethreads are a lot bigger when we are a losing team. when we win people actually go out and watch the games instead of sitting at home on their computer.

I really dont understand how in college Williams had such a head for the game.....he looks totally lost out there from what ive seen. Maybe hes just nervous to be on a winning team and is afraid of messing up? Whatever the case he needs to think less and just play.

Shelden Williams had a good night - stat-wise. Something like 12 pts, 9 rebs. I was really glad to see our starters get a good 7 minutes of rest or so. We need that as much as possible.

Good win, and I thought Doc did a pretty good job with the minutes tonight. I would've liked to see Giddens get more than 8 minutes though, especially on a night where Ray's in there for 38 during a blowout.

Anyone know why the arenas are empty?

Went out had a couple beers and a meal before the game. Passed out when I got home and woke up with a minute left in the 4th. Looks like I didnt miss too much.

Giddens is a huge disappointment to me. I see pretty much nothing to like. I won't be surprised when he's gone.

Huh? I didnt get a chance to watch the game. But, I am not sure what you really can take from 8 minutes of action. He continues to rebound well whenever he players.

Shelden Williams is one of those guys that's amazingly awkward and uncoordinated but can still be effective. He hustles and throws his body around and kinda knows what he is doing. I think people see his lack of athleticism and jump to conclusions.

OTOH Giddens just doesn't look great. Yeah its only 8 minutes but he just doesn't look like a player. Walker, TA, and Giddens just don't seem to have a great mental game. TA might be the most savvy of the three. Yeah that's insulting...but seems true. All are good athletes though.

Hudson to me is the opposite. Sure he did nothing out there statistically speaking but he looks like he is in control and knows what he is doing.. He plays like he is 25 - which is a credit to him because he hasn't been in the league yet.

I really wouldn't be that worried if Rondo was out for a few games and he had to play..

^^ agreed.

i was definitely hoping for more from giddens, but he really looks like a rookie out there in every bad sense of the word. i would have thought after a year of being around the nba he would look much more like he belonged... like lester does. he clearly has skills and athleticism but has no instincts at all, and doesn't play smart. i guess at least doc is giving him a chance this year. i'll reserve judgement since this was his first prolonged nba action but he has to have more bbiq than he showed today (or in preseason for that matter).

Wow, so much for the whole "Charlotte always plays us tough" crap others (and myself included) were saying yesterday...are we sure that wasn't Charlotte High School's team? What a pile of stink that team is...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

I think you are spot on with this analysis across the board.

Same here. Giddens=crap, already...whereas Hudson already looks like he could be decent...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
