After watching the game last night with you guys and the LeBron's, Cleveland is horrible except for LeBron.

The offense is so pathetic. They need a player of Jackson's caliber to provide someone other than LeBron who can make an effing play. He'd also help LeBron and Company with the tougher defensive match-ups which can wear James out a bit.

You guys need Jackson for relief of Pierce and Ray. Cleveland needs to make a move desparately if they are even thinking about a championship run.

As for Jackson's character....Duncan loved him as a team-mate in their championship year together. And Jackson won't be causing any trouble with either LeBron or Shaq on the one hand, or Pierce, KG, Ray, and Sheed on the other to answer to.

1. Jax would be a great addition to the Celts.

2. We cannot fit his contract in very easily moving forward. Provided we resign Rondo and Allen, there would be HUGE lux tax ramifications next season (probably dollar-for-dollar on Jax's $8.5m).

3. There's no need for us, or anyone, to give anything of value for the guy. Ws will have to either take back bad contracts or throw in their pick next year to dump this guy, and their fans seem to be the last to know about this. The idea that they could get a young player of value and expiring deals is nuts.

i think the point here is G Davis+ Scala or whatever 3rd string filler...ain't much value.
CENSORED... No comment.

I think people have completely forgotten what Baby's role is in this team... He is KG's insurance, and also his backup off the bench. Do you really want to see Scal a lot, if KG has to take a game off, or worse, if he is injured? Jackson is talented, but a high volume shooter and can just take away games as much as he takes over them. We cannot go into a game with Scal and Shelden as our primary backups. This trade would defeat the whole Sheed acquisition.
