Drove up from San Diego to watch this game, what a disappointing loss! Nash was unstoppable in the clutch, and the shots he made were pretty difficult. Baron couldn't stick with him and stop him from driving to the basket at all.

EJ's free throws were the most disappointing thing to all the fans. You just heard the frustration from everyone when he kept missing his FT's. After the 2nd illegal defense penalty on the Suns, it seemed like when he missed the FT, Kaman waved his hand over to the assistant coaches suggesting like "hey, told you I should've shot the penalty FT." Pretty funny.

Kaman actually did well and you could see his confidence growing as he made his 15 ft jumpers, being more aggressive for rebounds and scoring in the paint.

To EJ's defense, the Suns actually locked down on D pretty good in the 4th quarter. The Suns players read every single play and stopped BD and EJ from passing the ball and initiating the offense. Butler got lucky with his pull up 3 in the last seconds, because whatever play they wanted to run got stopped and he had no choice but to throw it up. As for the last play, it might have made more sense to put Telfair in there instead of Novak, as he can be a little more creative with his ball handling than EJ.

*P.S. - Attendance for a home opener was pitiful. Probably the least I've seen for a home opener in the past 3 years. Only something like 15,000, but I'm pretty sure less people than that were in the stadium. Come on Clippers fans!!

I was very disappointed with Gordon. He missed that wide open layup and pouted down the court. It seems like his focus is off this year. He's missing free throws and layups like he's a rookie. Baron played better and so did rasual.
The reason we lost is cause of rebounding. What is up???

Yo Fish I would be at Staples except I'm in Pennsylvania right now :)

I do plan on catching a game or two during my thanksgiving break
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

I think you're fishing there. They had one more rebound than us. Aside from that, our front court dominated their front court in the rebounding area.

All things aside, I'm still pretty confused how we lost that game. In just about every aspect of the game, we either matched them or surpassed them. The only thing I can contribute it to is that our free throw percentage was terrible, and their second unit surprisingly dominated our bench.

They outrebounded us by 7 in the first half and had 10+ more fg attempts and a lot more free throw attempts. The game was tied at the half when we should have been up by double digits.

We shot almost 60% at the half and had we rebounded better and didn't give them 3 shots in one possession several times we would have blown them out.
