It could be tough to make the playoffs if we lose because then we'd have to be a WC team and there are teams like Atlanta, Philly, and Dallas (or NY if they don't win the division).

If we would lose I still wouldn't count us out. I think we stack up with any of those other wild card candidates.

You're right, it could be. I like our chances much better if we're in line for either the division or a wild card spot. The division title is a playoff birth we only have to compete against one team for. Relying on the wild card puts you in the mix with half a dozen teams.

I get Packers Plus and Cliff Christl wrote a very interesting article about what he thinks may have went down during the whole Favre mess. His main contention being that the Executive Committee may have played a bigger role than fans know about and basically hired and sent out Ari Fleischer to behind the scenes attack Favre through the media. Implying that some of the stuff which angered Brett didn't come from Ted/McCarthy, but instead came from the Executive Committee and Fleischer who was hired without the say so of Ted.

I can't post the whole piece, but it was a very interesting read.

The executive committee could have released a lot more damning info on Favre if they wanted too.

Green Bay - Here's the final injury report of the week for both teams:

Packers

Out: FB Korey Hall, WR Jordy Nelson.
Doubtful: TE Jermichael Finley, C Jason Spitz.
Questionable: LT Chad Clifton, S Derrick Martin, DE Jarius Wynn.
Probable: LB Clay Matthews, QB Aaron Rodgers, G Josh Sitton, OT Mark Tauscher, CB Charles Woodson.

Vikings

Out: CB Antoine Winfield (foot).
Questionable: WR Percy Harvin (illness), WR Bernard Berrian (hamstring), LB Jasper Brinkley (hamstring), WR Darius Reynaud (hamstring).
Probable: QB Brett Favre (hip), LB E.J. Henderson (knee), LB Ben Leber (calf), FB Naufahu Tahi (knee), CB Karl Paymah (quad).
Notes

Coach Mike McCarthy has not ruled Finley out for this game yet. "He's definitely improving. (We'll) work him out Sunday. If he can clear one of the tests tomorrow he'll be a pre-game workout candidate. If he doesn't come out of his rehab tomorrow, the session they put him through, then obviously he'll be down."

Packers "have some options" when it comes to the offensive line with Clifton practicing today. McCarthy wouldn't reveal which way he's leaning.

RB Ahman Green has "a very good chance" of being active: "I think he'll have a chance to contribute. He looks good. You do worry, he hasn't been in live action this year. That's a concern, no question about it. But we have history with Ahman, and there's history between Ahman and his position coach Edgar Bennett, so we're going to rely on that to make some decisions." Green could help as a returner.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Not having Harvin or Berrian would be a pretty big blow to the Queens. Harvin is a pretty good return man as well as a wildcat type guy out of the back field. Berrian obviously is their best WR. Hopefully neither play.

I'm nitpicking but I think Sidney Rice is easily their best, or at least most consistent, receiver right now.

If it plays out like Madden predicts then it should be one hell of a game...

Did Green really return back in the day? Man I can't remember. I can kind of picture it but I kind of think that would be stupid. I can't remember.

McCarthy must be talking about his Seattle days.

How jacked would that crowd get if Ahman Freakin Green returned a kick for TD tomorrow, lol. That'd be awesome.

With that said, I'd be a little nervous sticking a guy back there that hasn't returned a kick in 10 years and has also been out of football for awhile. But who knows, if he's got some speed left and the coaches are comfortable, get some use out of him I say.

My predictions Ahman Green 2 fumbles and game loss all because of him. He will fumble a return to start the game and fumble on a handoff and blow the game.
