Just before 11am John Kruk is fired by ESPN for accepting bribes from Pirates manager Jim Tracy to keep talking up the team. It is discovered that Kruk was not paid in money, but in Krispy Kremes.
Don't forget the
And I see Kruker as more of a Dunkin' Donuts and Krispy Kreme guy

True. I'm not a fan of "Squeeze play", they would be better served to show more of the important innings. Why do I need to see a 1-2-3 inning in three pitches? When there is a big inning they show like 7-8 pitches. They could have done a much better job w/ it and I hope they change the format.
Early MVP is our new hitting coach. I wish we would have fired Butch before last year but this guy was worth the wait. Very solid coaching all around on this club. Go brewers!

A right knee contusion is a bruise, but it must have been painful for him to come out of the game. What makes me think that it isn't too much to worry about is that he pitched another inning afterwards, so it's not like Karstens fron the Yankees where it broke a bone and he had to come out of the game. At worst, I say he misses the start against Washington.
