I really hope we don't get blown out I want to be competitive at least. I really like the individual matchups in the staring line up. I wish all the best to VC and Ryan hope Orlando gets to the Finals cause I really hate Boston.

Orlando is a huge fan already of Anderson. Carter too of course but noone expected Ryan to break into the starting lineup so quick. I felt like he had a good chance and it will allow Lewis, when he gets back, to go to the SF spot where he was an All Star. Should be a good game.

Yeah, the game really shouldnt be much of a problem for Orlando. They are way too deep and way too talented for New Jersey. Matchups definitely favor Orlando too, except for the PG spot which could allow Harris to have a big night.

It'll be nice to see my boy Lee though. Definitely miss him on the Magic. Here's to a (hopefully) competitive game. I always enjoy those. :)

Was he that bad? Damn.. well, we're well known for having Magic killers / former Magic players light us up so I'm not holding my breath..

The only ways the Nets lose this game is if scrubs like JJ Redick get playing time (scrubs always kill the Nets... Remember Steve Novak?). Otherwise they'll beat the Magic. Book it. :(

Don't worry coach Frank is already thinking of a master plan for us to get dominated. Maybe Eduardo Najera will be our prime score this time so, for sure we will lose

I hope he take out all his frustrations on the Magic and he gets over all the pain for being traded.

I would like to see 25 pts.

Dont expect VC to light us up. He wouldnt light up Tor and they boo him. I really doubt he lights up, when all the VC lovers cheer him.

VC has had monster games vs Toronto including at least two buzzer beater winning shots. The 3pt to tie, dunk to win game I think his line was: 39 points / 9 rebounds / 6 assists / 1 steal on 61% from the field. If that's not lighting up a team I don't know what is...
EDIT: That being said I do doubt Vince has big #'s vs Nets unless it's a close game throughout. Vince & the rest of the Magic Starters were basically done shortly after halftime vs Sixers.

If Frank is still playing his pack the paint defensive schemes it will play right into the hands of the Magic who outside of Dwight & Bass can all shoot 3's. Ryan Anderson was great from Summer League & didn't slow down one bit during Pre-Season or the first game of the regular season....he's getting open looks from 3 over & over again & is capitalizing on his opportunities. He's suddenly a crowd/fan favourite for his ability to score the 3 ball so well, Magic fans are surprised.

I caught the tail end of the Nets/Wolves game. Tough loss & Yi had some crucial missteps at the end but he looks like a different player (for the better) in their first game. I'm looking forward to seeing how Lopez & esp. CDR's game has improved & also T-Will & Devin. So Hayes is the odd man out now or what (2 + minutes..?)...I really liked the dude last year.

Got second level seats for tomorrow's game. (modified to first level if security's lax)

2 things I have to do
taunt Vince yell "wonder what you'll have left in May Wince!"
and get a fire Frank chant going

I used to just enjoy the game now reduced to heckling :x
I got the burner-Kevin Durant

Cream rises to the top-Nic Claxton

Hayes injured his left hamstring when he tried to block Ryan Hollins and will miss two to three weeks.

This is going to be such a horrible loss. Ryan is going to really let us have it.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
