Thoughts on the game---
1.) Never been so happy to start Gomes
2.) We need to run the p/r on whoever Shaq is guarding.
3.) Play 48 minutes.

Exactly. This has been their biggest weakness this year, and we have a guy who excels in the pick and roll.

Stewie could have a big game. Maybe we should start him instead of Gomes? but Gomes is a nice passer on the pinch/post.

I think Gomes presents more of a matchup problem against Varejao.

It will be interesting watching Gomes, Brewer and co. trying to contain LeBron.

I think Jawai could see some minutes against Shaq.

I think Jawai and Hollins need to see a lot of minutes at C. Shaq isn't what he used to be, but throwing Al against him for major minutes, rather than have him at PF, is a bad idea.

I hope we make Shaq shoot some free throws.

Lol at Hollins trying to defend Shaq, we might as well throw Brewer at him.

Lebron will get his 30pts-10 rebs-8 assists, but we need to make the rest of this new look Cavs team beat us. From what I've seen from the Cavs in their first two games is that their offense and defense is a lot slower with Shaq and offensively, everyone is just clearing way for Lebron and never really get into any rhythm.

I expect the game to be close tomorrow, hopefully it doesn't require late heroics again and we can develop something consistent on offense. Give Johnny Flynn the ball and get out of the way!

I don't like that strategy

Let's hope giving away tickets is the key to winning. I'm going to predict that we will average the lowest amounts of assists per game.

Madsen always played well on him, lets try Cardinal...

It's good to be back to having an NBA game every two days :)

Unfortunately, I can't see the NBA happy with an 0-3 start for the Cavs. I am not going to say rigged or anything, but Lebron, Shaq, and crew will get there calls.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Sasha get more minutes tonight. He is a former Cav and is touted for what he can do on defense. We will probably see him on Lebron a bit when Brewer isn't. I don't see that going well, but maybe Sasha will surprise us. Lebron will probably get 30+ unless it is a blowout. Even still, you know he is going to get his and then some.

Would be an amazing win, but so not holding my breath here.

No one has to rig anything to beat us, especially a championship contender. LeBron will beat us by himself.

Definitely wasn't saying Hollins would be good at stopping Shaq, but I'd just rather have Hollins, Jawai, and even Cardinal on him rather than Al picking up those fouls.

Also interesting to see who guards LeBron the most, probably some combination of Brewer, Wilkins, and Gomes.

Regardless of who gets the benefit of calls, you know LeBron is going to go off tonight. Hopefully, the rest of the Cavs don't.

Jawai needs to play for sure. I don't think our rebounding is gonna be pretty, Cavs are way too huge for us and I don't think we can hurt them off the dribble with our bigs enough to even it out.
