I mentioned Rondo for a couple reasons.
First, opportunity. Right now, Rondo may be available. A guy with his stats and publicity isn't often someone you can get, especially for two players that could be bench guys for our lowly team.
Second, Sessions and Gomes fit what BOS is trying to do.
Third, I think Rondo is a quality asset -- to someone. People can debate how much of Rondo's production is from playing with three all stars, and how much is from him internally. I think that same debate probably goes on in different front offices as well, when his name is discussed. I believe that means some potential trade partners would pay a lot for him.
I'm not gung ho about Rondo here, of course, but if we can't give Sessions the minutes, his trade value is going to drop after a pretty nice season last year in MIL. We might see the same thing with Gomes, struggling as an under-sized PF until Love gets back, and maybe not playing much after Love reclaims his minutes. December 15th can't come soon enough. However, I think a trade where we consolidate these two into Rondo would get us an asset that we can really turn into something valuable.
Could Sessions be Dealt?

Sessions & Utah's pick for Jordan Hill & T.Douglas
Knicks were after Sessions but didn't want to add salary past 2010, in this trade they give up players under contact past 2010, get a good PG and a pick
Wolves get two prospects, Douglas takes backup pg duties, Hill is an upgrade over any our bench big and fits the running style.
