Top 10 Fantasy players of the mid 90's?

Post#1 » by raptor21_85 » Fri Oct 30, 2009 1:41 am

Considering that in that era, Defense was better so teams used to score fewer points.
From 1996 to 2000
Would your number one pick be Michael Jordan? (til 1998)
Other players could be Shaq, Pippen, Malone, Stockton, Payton, Kemp...

-John Stockton (1990-91): 50.7% fg, 83.6% ft, 0.7 3s, 17.2 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 14.2 apg, 2.9 spg, 0.2 bpg
-Alanzo Mourning (1998-99): 51.1% fg, 65.2% ft, 20.1 ppg, 11.0 rpg, 1.6 apg, 0.7 spg, 3.9 bpg
-Gary Payton (1999-00): 44.8% fg, 73.%% ft, 2.2 3s, 24.2 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 8.9 apg, 1.9 spg, 0.2 bpg

Kemp was Amare like in Fantasy. Worse ft's and more to's though. More rebounds.

Check Lionell Simmons sophomore season. He would've been a huge sleeper the next year.

Also interesting:

Danny Manning
Alvin Robertson (Almost 4 steals a game)

Best:

Hakeem Olajuwon and David Robinson.

96: 20 p / 9.8 r / 6.9 a / 1.2 s
97: 21.4 p/ 9r / 7.8 a/ 1.8 s
98: 21p / 7.7r / 6.4 a/ 1.8s
99: 21p / 7.1r / 6a / 1.6s
00: 25 p / 6.6r / 5.2a 1.4s
